It's actually really cute and overall I think it's the best from this album so far, but honestly it's still underwhelming. My main problem with all the new songs is melody-wise they're kinda cool but it sounds like her producers are trying to make it sound some sort of latina and radio-friendly a little bit too much. I don't like this whole guitar sound and this whole "yeah yeah yeah" and "oh oh oh"s. It sounds like a typical radio song and I'm not here for it. She needs better producers. And the worst thing is after hearing "oOoOorange" part on her Instagram a few weeks ago I really thought this song would be some sort of experimental and interesting. Turns out it's just Baby 2.0.

It’s obvious at this point that Interscope doesn’t care about Lana’s release when Billie Eilish is now the next big thing. And I don’t blame Interscope for that. It’s a cash grab opportunity. Who I blame is the society for falling for that boring ass brat. At least Lana’s ~melancholy~ theme was authentic and she wasn’t just some sort of grunge edgy tumblr teen. Billie’s vocals control is quite good, but it’s really nothing shocking since all of her family works in the music industry. And her songs mainly sound interesting because of her brother’s production. But this is exactly what society now is - they’re making boring ass pop stars famous. Honestly last interesting big debut act was Lana and then Lorde. Now the music industry is full of Dua Lipas and all that generic shit.

She wrote it and it’s still on HER album. It’s not just a random feature anymore.

Y’all acting like Lana taking a private jet while her band is flying commercial lines is something new. I get it, her friends look like a shelf of mayonnaise jars and they’re overall annoying, but I can’t even count how many times me or my friends spotted her band on the airport while she was landing in her private jet. There’s also many times when even her whole team were staying at another hotel, probably just to confuse fans and paparazzi. They’re working for her, she pays them and she really doesn’t have to fly them with her jet, especially when she’s with her management/friends/family.

Not liking Marina going fully mainstream doesn’t mean someone’s trying to be “unique.” I love radio-friendly songs, they’re fun. But there’s certain artists that I expect more from and Marina’s one of them. Epescially since people are not mad at her for sounding “mainstream,” she’s always been mainstream less or more (Electra, hello?), we’re just used to some level of her ~artistry~. Artists can be mainstream and inventive at the same time. But instead of that she choose to sound generic af with some latina-wannabe style that’s not even on top anymore.

At least I hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have - but i have it her friends will not let her go onstage with black shirt and black jeans.

It sounds like Baby 2.0. She’s trying to please GP again, but at least Electra was conceptual, smart and overall iconic, Superstar and Orange are just cheap pop songs. I thought she was over with her desperate “radio-friendly wannabe” narrative but guess I was wrong. But honestly now I’m happy she has changed her name to just “Marina,” because it sounds like some random cheap Latina pop girl and this is exactly what’s her music now.

What’s the worst thing about this era now, a few months ago I was super excited, then frustrated.. and now I don’t even feel frustrated anymore, I just don’t care. If we won’t hear any important info at the BUKU show, this album can be even scrapped and it won’t make a difference to me tbh. She killed the hype and at this point I don’t even know if anything can change that.

If she’s comfortable with being a fully pop-commercial girl that’s good for her. But that’s not her ~artistic freedom~ that allows her to release an album that quick, one after another. Her management just knew it would be a great cash grab and she just wants the same thing. It wouldn’t be that simple for her if her choice of TUN’s sound direction would be something less commercial lmao. That’s why it definitely wouldn’t be the same with Lana.

Do you REALLY think Ariana is that free to release anything she wants? Lmao she literally just released a total cash grab album full of Max Martin trap-pop produced tracks. She’s fully a product right now. Lana would be forced to record BTD-type tracks and promote it the way we know she hates. So yeah, Ariana’s career is really well organised but she’s no way as authentic as Lana.

This site is so messy, why can’t mods ban Eclipse’s stinky attention-seeking ass already. I know he’s going to leak stuff via his other social media anyway because that’s what people unsatisfied with their everyday life do, but we still don’t need this type of energy here. Honestly, at this point mods giving him platform to post illegal info and live for this type of attention are equal to blame.

Focus/No Angel is Charli’s best release. Period.

Even if you don’t like the album, LFL era was really great. LTTM tour, her connection with fans, photoshoots, interviews, merch, cute events like listening party, amoeba or pop-up shops (even if it was just Cali it was really entertaining to watch new cute clips every week) and Lana giving away merch for free and even her own iconic clothes from past photoshoots. Wonder how NFR is gonna be when it finally starts, probably just as dry as now

She always mentions her projects that way and acknowledges other people included. Like during every release she says it’s “our” album (mentioning producers etc.)

She keeps us more and more confused with every new announcment. There’s so many mixed feelings this era. Like she can’t just be fucking CLEAR about something for once.

It’s fucking Lana of course it would be perfect for an amazing cover shoot by Steven F U C K I N G Klein but we all know it’s gonna be Chuck again so don’t get your hopes up gays We’re at this point when Lana forgetting about her 1st shot with Klein sounds more real than him shooting album cover let’s face that

To be fair - if someone doesn’t know who Lana is it’s usually someone who’s not really into music on its own and listening only to the radio. Literally everyone who’s not living under the rock knows who Lana is. So yeah, she totally made it. And I wouldn’t be so sure about her making a living only from her music career. Yeah, it has started everything, but she’s definitely investing her money in something besides that.

Wow. Now that I’m seeing her 200th random photo out with her friends, that video of Lana saying “I’m so focused on being a baddie so I can’t really work rn” really makes sense.

There’s nothing wrong with not liking her work, especially when we’re used to her whole Lana Del Rey persona. I think it’s just a phase of her, she wants to make everything as simple as possible and if it makes her not-that-depressed anymore… I guess I support her.
