I need some news from Lana, it would have been better if she had said nothing, to be honest we would have been fine with that as I doubt anyone expected a new album so soon anyway. It worse when she announces something though and then it goes unheard of for months on end.

I hate when artists start hyping too early, and then it feels like forever before we hear anything again. First single please Lana!!

I think a lot of people on here want the same thing visually, its the music side we have different opinions off. I'm hoping for more BTD esque songs and for her to bring the Hip Hop beats back, but I'm sure I will like what she does anyway as I usually do.

Also I doubt the album is not going to happen, just because Mark Ronson has been silent doesn't mean anything really. He's probably too busy promoting his own stuff to wanna talk about Lana. But even if she isn't working him now, I'm sure she will still be making the album.

The great thing about Lana is that all her music sounds like she made it. Her aesthetic is always there on her songs so no matter who she works with or what direction she goes in it will still sound like a Lana song. Obviously we like some songs better than others, but its great that we don't have to worry about her music changing too much.

We don't really know what sound she is going for so she could easily work with him again. 
 
 
I think the label had something to do with that though, either they didn't invest as much in the era as they did BTD or she just didn't want to do all her visuals and promote because she wanted critical acclaim..

This! Its not like Lana said she wasn't happy with BTD and then never worked with him again, they obviously have a good friendship and working relationship.

Emile and Mark produced Unorthodox Jukebox??!? I love that album so much so that gives me high hopes if them two end up working with Lana for Honeymoon.

I just want Lana on this album to be honest. I think she's one of few artists that if they had someone featuring on their song it wouldn't add anything and could take away the ''vibe'' of the song. A rapper would probably spoil one of her songs unless it was a 50/50 song, but I think it would work better if she featured on a rapper's song like she did with ASAP.

I feel like Lana collabing with other artists would take away from the album. Her albums are about her mysterious life story and I don't see how people can incorporate their lyrics with hers. But we'll see, maybe I'm wrong.

I need this back in my life. I was watching the Born To Die video and its so epic, like its on the same scale as an actual film.

I'd love to hear the demo's she made before Dan worked on them to see how they differ in sound. Saying that didn't she make a lot of the songs with Dan and just scrapped what she had already made? I don't know If I'm getting this right.
 
I enjoyed UV so I wasn't dissapointed in the album, I just preferred BTD a lot more and I hope that the sound of the new one will be closer to BTD and sound like something than Haynie, Heath and Nowels would put their touch on. I'm hoping she will be working with them for some songs on the new album. Even though I enjoyed UV It was a lot darker to BTD so I'm hoping this album will be a lot lighter.

Lana needs to release some news about this album so this thread can get back on topic.
 
I want her to do promo as in TV & Radio because I want to hear live performances in perfect quality as I enjoy listening to her singing live.
