How am I so slayed by just a few seconds of a song?

Mess @ me finally getting into No Mythologies to Follow. I guess better late than never.

I've noticed that Walmart exclusives are usually: a) Exclusive cover b) Exclusive booklet with a poster (or something like that) c) Free MP3 download code (which Amazon.com does anyway) d) Extra remixes tacked on the end of the tracklisting It's starting to look like the only possible things that could happen with The Fool are the exclusive poster/booklet/whatever or a free MP3 download. That is, unless they posted the standard track list or cover in error. I'm going to stop by my local trash can Walmart on Tuesday to check for this edition and I'll be sure to report back.

They have a point about OctaHate being an outlier, but it was already the outlier on the Promises EP, so what did they expect? After hearing the EP and The Fool (the song), I knew to expect a lighter sound from the rest of the album. It has been clear for a while that OctaHate was a one-time spew of anger.

Sorry for the double post but... http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/20641-the-fool/ https://twitter.com/RynWeaver/status/609531578566471680 oops

Wrote a review of The Fool, if anybody's interested: http://auralfixationreviews.blogspot.com/2015/06/the-fool-ryn-weaver.html

I'm quite excited for her new record. Kiss was pretty average, and the material from E•MO•TION thus far has been really solid. Why is it that she's really still trying to push IRLY and making very few mentions of the album when the album comes out in just under two weeks? Like sis, you've got to move on to pushing that album, not just the single

One week later and I'm still playing this record in full multiple times a day. Definitely a gem.
-
Stay Low, most definitely. OctaHate comes in second, but mainly because we already have so many live performances of that one. I'm sure an acoustic rendition would slay, though.

Audacity + Utagoe Also, made this mash-up, for anybody who is a fan of both Florence and Lights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9YUvs1yAZLk&feature=youtu.be

https://soundcloud.com/auralfixationedits/florence-the-machine-hbhbhb-filtered-a-cappellas I started filtering some a cappella tracks with the instrumentals. Queen of Peace is kind of fuzzy and I still have more tracks to toy with, but here are few snippets.

She better be coming to the Midwest/East coast, too...

Ellie Goulding - Halcyon Days Lights - Little Machines (plus my ticket, on which she wrote "flux and flow" for a potential tattoo) Foxes - Glorious Banks - Goddess Banks - London EP

Florence is going to dominate her competitors on the BB 200: https://twitter.com/chartnews/status/606577469664182272. The HBHBHB prediction is at 120-130k, and her next highest competition are A$AP and Taylor Swift at 30-35k

Runaway has an unexpected twist to her sound, and the vocal rhythm to the chorus of Pierre caught me off guard after listening to that acoustic version so many times lol

AFAICG HQ is going around, apparently. Anybody got a link they could PM me?
-
I'm pretty sure it's the same. Pure Feeling alone merits the purchase of the Target edition
-
I've just been using the standard edition cover for convenience.

Shamelessly stolen from ATRL: a competition of each song from all three albums. Dog Days Are Over vs Only If For A Night vs Ship To Wreck Rabbit Heart vs Shake It Out vs What Kind Of Man I'm Not Calling You A Liar vs What The Water Gave Me vs How Big How Blue How Beautiful Howl vs Never Let Me Go vs Queen Of Peace Kiss With A Fist vs Breaking Down vs Various Storms & Saints Girl With One Eye vs Lover to Lover vs Delilah Drumming Song vs No Light No Light vs Long & Lost Between Two Lungs vs Seven Devils vs Caught Cosmic Love vs Heartlines vs Third Eye My Boy Builds Coffins vs Spectrum vs St Jude Hurricane Drunk vs All This & Heaven too vs Mother Blinding vs Leave My Body vs Hiding You've Got The Love vs Remain Nameless vs Make Up Your Mind Swimming vs Landscape vs Which Witch Bird Song vs Bedroom Hymns vs As Far As I Could Get Drumming Song vs No Light No Light vs Long & Lost pits three beautiful songs against one another and it was so hard to choose Cosmic Love vs Third Eye, Never Let Me Go vs Queen of Peace, and Spectrum vs St. Jude were also challenging

The acoustic Pierre video is still giving me life fives days after its release
-
I always forget that I have an account here, and that y'all actually like artists outside of the one that the forum is dedicated to I've been trying to rave to people for days now about this album with no avail. The Target edition of HBHBHB is beautiful, but there had to be a better format for that booklet. I feel like it's a bit heavy to be held together by just two staples...

Ultraviolence Reviews: 74 Metascore (DISCUSS REVIEWS ONLY)
Nick replied to Jared's topic in Latest News
Don't mind this one. This guy's had it out for her since Born To Die. He gives everybody a bad review if they're popular. If you scroll through his feed, all of his reviews of unknown hipster bands are significantly higher than anybody who has more than a following of like 2,000 fans.
