I love both versions of New Americana tbh. Drive is probably my least favorite track from her by comparison to her others, though.
What's wrong with re-purposing a song to make new material? Hell, half of the songs on BTD samples the same yell/scream/whatever ripped from a YouTube video but it turned out just fine

Nick liked a post in a topic by Deleted User in Florence + The Machine
I've seen her last night for the very first time and apart from telling you all that, although I didn't think it possible, I love her more than I have ever loved her... I am S O P I S S E D at people when she asked on Third Eye everyone to please put their phones away, there was still like +10 people with their phone held high. It pissed me off so much because concerts in Argentina are REALLY expensive, and you wait like a whole life to see someone live, and most people are REALLY rude... And Flo said "For this following song, I want to ask you kindly, all of you, to please put your phones away and enjoy it and keep it in your eyes, ears and memory, and live the moment". It's nice for something like this to happen when people are all the time trying to grab everyone's attention, dressing fancy and stuff to attend a concert, trying to be caught by professional photographers and stage screens...
I know this is a really long post but man, that was the only negative thing about the concert: The people.
At the start of HBHBHB, it started RAINING. It was almost miraculous, cinematic. It was at Lollapalooza in San Isidro's racecourse. The place was enormous but you didn't have a site you could cover yourself. So it was so nice, such a big crowd under the rain listening to Florence.
I'm so, so so so so happy. I can say it was a life-changing experience to watch her live. My sister has been through so many things last year, and some of the lyrics and things florence said were so healing we hugged each other and cried the pain out.
Seriously, if any of you hasn't seen her, please try to do so. It's such an amazing moment.

didn't you hear? apparently Halsey is actually the antichrist, here to take attention away from the world's one and only true gift Lana Del Rey. Halsey marks the second physical manifestation of the devil on earth, just after Lorde.

yeah, um, Lana doesn't own that phrase. She's just one of the hundreds of stars to use it.

How is it that whenever I come in this thread, there's always a completely different atmosphere on each page?
one page is filled with a fight
one page is filled with stills from Spongebob episodes with Halsey lyrics on them
one page is filled with sass
With each of them sprinkled with the same "i love halsey..and BADLANDS....artist of our generation clearly" messages

well guys I MET HER!!! she was so so sweet and cute. she signed both my CD and vinyl. I asked about her kidneys, and she said she's doing much better. then I asked about WDBCF and she said basically:
-it didn't fit the Cry Baby theme/story correctly
-it's not as good as people think
-her new stuff is so much better
-maybe she'll give it out at some point as a freebie (which I encouraged)

Honestly, I disliked the original Meteorites. But this acoustic version brings a whole new life to the song. I absolutely love it.

CHECK THIS SHIT OUT YA'LL
Lights is honestly so incredible. I place her as most important to me, even above Lana.
I think she is a talented lyricist, her voice puts me in a happy place, and she loves her fans.
Lana is a bit more distant but that's due to her being on a whole different caliber. But Lights is forever my favorite.

Not in the slightest. Ellie has been slaying live this era and sounded studio ready on LMLYD, especially the verse, so I'm satisfied.

Well then I'm glad you were watching the Grammys with likeminded people. Unfortunately for you all, though, this wasn't a knock-out round on the Voice.

They can't be fanmade because Nightmusic filtered out right for me. I think the way she produced and mixed the tracks rendered some of vocal reverb on the instrumental tracks and some elements of the instrumental track in the a cappellas.
