Wildflower Wildfire is magnum opus level holy shit (The breathy "HOT FIRE, HOT WEATHER, HOT COFFEE" absolutely scalped me) Blue Banisters is what I think a UV and HM love child would sound like. Her vocals sound amazing as ever. I zoned off halfway through Text Book but I dig the atmosphere

iirc at one point Dua said Love Again was her favorite track on the album (the taste!), so I'm not surprised it's going to be a single. It's one of my favorites on the album as well, so I'm excited! I've been thinking a lot about the FN tour lately. I hate that she most likely won't be touring here in the US until ~2 years after the album was released Damn COVID.

I just want the album already honestly, the music videos and singles have been good but the promo in general has just felt...anti-climactic this era? idk. Something about this era just doesn't excite me like other eras did. I hate to say it, but maybe I'm just over her.

I am absolutely obsessing over White Dress today. It truly is a career highlight of hers. I don't know how to explain it, but it's one of those songs I'm surprised got released because it seems like a song we shouldn't hear - she sounds like she's in so much pain and despair and wrote and sang the song as sort of a personal release, not necessarily for an album. (Of course, I'm so thankful she decided to record and release it!) I haven't felt this way about a Lana song since Fine China.
