Yeah I’m not always seeing where some of our negativity comes from. Like, homegurl is on tour with last year’s breakout star Camila Cabello and Taylor-freakin-Swift. That’s a crazy big tour... I mean, let’s be honest, she’s doing good... amirite?

I meant to respond to this yesterday but I got home and passed out lol sorry This is true, and no offense taken, I get it... but my point basically is... WHERE. ARE. ALL. HER. STANS? lol like her millions of social media followers/subscribers?? Why aren’t people buying her tracks? And with the millions of followers she should have millions of streams... Plus songs like Taxi and RNR and the more requested tracks are basically more “underground” sorts of tracks and nobody is saying to release them as major singles like Boys or ATAP... and as far as we know, there were no big-time producers really involved... and to host music, there are very inexpensive ways to upload songs for purchase. If there’s a limited underground audience, release them in a more “underground” fashion. Fans are essentially creating and throwing artwork at her... Like if her collective fanbase at large was just there for her and purchased the tracks and streamed them a few times, she’d literally be generating millions. And this is also why I personally advocate for services like iTunes to implement a “name your price” feature, like Bandcamp... everyone has to pay $1.29 BUT if they choose, people could pay more for a single track or album, as much as they wanted, to better support the artist and industry as a whole. At this point, if Charles released Taxi, RNR, U&D, among other unreleased tracks... the XCX3 album... I’d (personally) pitch her a considerably higher amount than standard pricing.... Artists have been doing stuff like this for a long time, and I’ve done what I can to support the ones I enjoy, but they have to make it possible in the first place. Going on a tangent here, a band that I enjoy just released some songs after 8 years of holding on to them... Ironically they kinda “leaked” them themselves lol... Man... I wish I could’ve physically pitched them more money because the enjoyment and meaning that a couple of those tracks have brought to me, over the years, has greatly exceeded a $1.29... People just have to be there for the artists man, that’s really what it is... and these labels and online/digital music services need to implement better business models and improvements to these services to bring about more effective means of supporting music. Take better advantage of people like me that love music and want to give a bit more to the industry.

All I remember her saying was that the next single drop would be a “little late”... I don’t ever remember specifics.

It’d be cool if Charles worked with a massive EDM producer or something and went all in on like, a LEGIT club record. Almost like a melodic, heavy, even a more “Trance” type sound, which I’m using kind of loosely... I’m talking like euphoric, hard club bangers tho... like something maybe sorta along the lines of this? Something a little more... “emotional” sounding though? Idk... I find electronic music hard to describe and dial in. That build up and that drop though, I just know I would LOSE it, lasers flying everywhere... mannn... lol, it’s kinda outside the pop realm though is all...

POP 2 show... it was pretty much, if not the exact same version as Exchange L.A...

Just kinda want to point out, it honestly sounds like a rough cut of Taxi... it's not the version that was performed live.

I’d have to learn to love them... the OG versions (based on the live videos from SXSW and Exchange) were perfect as is. It would just be an obvious attempt to make already great, fun songs needlessly more bombastic.

First time I ever heard Sucker and that opening comes in, and Charli out of nowhere just goes "FCCKKK YOU... SUCKKAHHH!!!" I was like "OHH wow, this girl is something else!" I was absolutely floored by the level of sass that had entered my ears. I really should share some pics from the Detroit gig with Bleachers sometime.

It’s kinda strange how it’s a lot of Charli’s teased and/or unreleased material that has solidified her as my favorite pop queen of all time... UGH, what a struggle. lol

“YOUUU and I... keep on goin’... through the motions... like we’re floating... ohh-oo-ohh-oo UP and DOWN! ...... ohh-oo-ohh-oo ROUND and ROUND!” :defeated: Ughh, I wish Charli could release these next-level bangers... both as her songs of course, but I could definitely settle for a Noonie / Charli double single/EP. There are just so many ways to package material and even different artists together into a given release and make it work, and make it marketable. I feel like these song would go so well together. It would be right up there with Focus / No Angel for me!

I had a dream that Charli stopped making PC music... lol I was devastated.

There’s a reason why though... Atlantic never pushed any of these songs to radio, nor were any of these songs promoted on the Reputation tour. They had a limited reach/platform. I feel like if Charli was shoved down people’s throats like all the pop queen bees, she COULD be on the same level. People kinda just consume what they’re fed, as far as top 40 pop is concerned and Atlantic isn’t feeding Charli to the masses. Seems like the most they did was pay a few media outlets to host a few articles here and there, from the looks of it... idk how all that promo works lol.

The new version of No Angel was unexpected though all-round, so it took a few listens to get used to. As far as GNO, people felt it kinda just works better slightly faster, which was due to people getting used to hearing it that way live. And considering CTMP has never been played live, there are no such expectations, only that a higher quality version will release at some point... so idk, I’m not seeing the issue here.

Imagining an alternate reality where Charli signed to The 1975’s label Dirty Hit... It’s kinda cool how Charli featured Jay Park on POP2 right, then more recently he’s sampled on No Rome’s “Narcissist” (feat. The 1975)... it’s almost like my two favorite U.K. pop acts are curating an alt-pop universe all their own, ironically comprised of similar taste, influences and sensibilities, and even alternative figures/artists themselves... :defeated: And the potential collaborations!
