I'm all for long albums... XCX3, double (party) album of the century...

If it is of any hope to anyone here... my favorite band surprise dropped an album last year. There was a little bit of preliminary hype, a couple of singles that dropped, but no date was ever set... until one day, there was just an album lol. One day, no album.., the next day, album. :bop: I mean I'm not sure if a major label would do something like this with a big album BUT Charli has basically done this with the mixtapes. They've basically come from nowhere. Maybe a third mixtape could drop with songs that people liked from XCX3, that leaked, or didn't make the final cut... Then everyone would get what they have been waiting for out of this whole mess of an era...

Yeah, and I mean like... even though we're all big Charli fans that kinda keep up with the latest news, like what do we REALLY know? Honestly? We think we know what's going on, or whatever... with the leaks, the delays, everything... but the label has had everything planned out, this tour was "kept secret for a while" and has been in the cards... what about the album? Why haven't certain songs leaked? No Angel... Round and Round... why are some leaked songs still "alive and well?" Many of the leaked songs kinda this "incomplete quality" to them anyway, at least with the ones I've heard... idk... I'm talking about the "big picture" I guess... this massive tour came out of nowhere... but it's all part of the plan. We knock Atlantic all the time for how XCX3 has been shaping up, but what if they're actually really on top of everything and everything is going to be for the best? I was just thinking about the implications of this tour, and if something this big was in the plan for a long time, what else is coming with Charli? There's a reason she's on this tour... there has to be. ...know what I'm saying? lol

Is Charli actually bigger than it seems? I mean, to tour with Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello, especially after "Havana" being a mega-hit... that's huge. Like they didn't have to give Charli a spot on that bill... Don't get me wrong, she deserves it... but maybe her album IS coming out soon and is set to be a humongous record. Given that Charli hasn't really had a big-time release since Sucker which was 2014, it just seems like there's some... other reason to justify this tour, ya know? Really kinda reading into it a lot, but still...

Really kinda agree... live it seems to sound really nice and bassy, but the studio leak just sounds too clean and bare... not full-bodied at all. Upping the tempo like it is live would help too slightly. Drown me in loud reverberated bass Charli queen...

Who wants to bet that the XCX3, as we know it, will just be released as a future mixtape? The fact that GNO, Bounce, No Angel, etc. are still "alive and well" and such, even though the "album" is scrapped and leaks and whatnot... but if they're still going to see a release following all of that, it seems like it can only be done through the mixtape format or though EP(s) with Charli's Vroom Vroom Recordings. Whatever happens, I just want these songs.. especially R&R and Taxi.

Oh I know right?? I wonder if MFC is going to stylistically resemble the MFC EP from a few years ago... I think their song "Me" was from that one... and come to think of it, "Chocolate" too correct? I'd bet their new EP comes first before the album though. Either way, I'm ready for whatever's next!

...did XCX3 just get pushed to 2019? I hope this tour isn't setting anything back. Charli should be playing a ton of songs off it and getting the music out there, but that's probably not her call.
