The sharp tone of the synths has always been so good in the SOPHIE version though. I get it... I was kinda missing that element in the final version myself. But yeah, the final definitely grew on me a ton throughout the day today. Some odd mixing choices with it maybe, but not a big deal. It's definitely well developed, and sounds good. Really surprised to see that SOPHIE version though!!

I haven't commented on Focus yet today, but WOW what a bop!

Why is the very last "I'm no angel, but I can learn..." at the end of the song so good? lol

It would go so well with No Angel, and Focus, and Roll With Me... Unlock It... Delicious... and GNO... Taxi... Party 4 U... I could go on and on! Ugh, I hope it gets released sometime. Like, it's all in a similar vein as these tracks, all offer up something a bit different, but why wasn't Round and Round seemingly "good enough?" I don't get it.

It's one of my favorite parts! And I can't tell if it's just the live audio getting drowned out or what, but I love how the production sounds kinda "filtered" and then things start fading in, only to kinda drop back (more clearly and unfiltered this time) and build up again when Charli starts singing... and those falsettos! :flutter: Those clubby synth tones and bass just wreck me though!

I wonder how much of this plan has to do with all the fan outcry over the last couple of years... or if this has been planned for a while. Idk... but with the recent revival of Taxi and the double release including No Angel, us stans could be making an impact! lol

They kinda leaked last week, yeah... so I caved and listened to them. They sound really really great! But I told myself I wouldn't listen to them again all week until release... I'm dying to hear the bridge on No Angel again! It's one of the more inspired and genuine things Charli has ever sang IMO. She sounds so good.

She's doing monthly drops... this is the June release. Late July she'll release another single (or two apparently) since she's doing it this month. Not sure about EP's or mixtapes. Just a bunch of singles and videos for the next few months.

I feel like No Angel has more potential to be a hit... it's just pop perfection. Focus is a little more experimental and progressive I guess, and I mean No Angel is too, but more in a pure pop sense.

Are there any videos out there of Charli playing instruments? I've seen her with guitars and stuff in pictures, and her home interviews with instruments everywhere... didn't she do a lot of the instruments on her very first album? I'm just curious how much she plays.

It's too catchy and then it morphs into a real electro banger!! It's like the Delicious of N1A... This tracks a view per repeat though? I always wondered how views were tracked on YouTube... like is it initial hits, or do replays count too? Idk...

One more day for the single release! Now I mean, it's unfortunate what happened last week... yeah... but I'm going to laugh when the Charli camp pulls a switcheroo and delays Focus and No Angel and drops another song or two instead, in spite of all the people leaking the info.
