  7. NEW MUSIC: Lana Del Rey feat. JAY Z - Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight [urban Noize Remix] (Preview) With the anticipation of Lana Del Rey's newest single titled "West Coast", which is will serve as the 1st single from her forthcoming album Ultraviolence, we were inspired to remix Lana's latest leaked record "Meet Me In The Pale Moonlight". Can't wait to debut the full version soon. https://soundcloud.com/urbannoizeremixes/lana-del-rey-feat-jay-z-meet https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f44YvNAeNTc
  8. I agree, it would be awesome & surprising to see her at least do one radio friendly record off this album with that particular sound, because i actually believe she can. Just depending on their approach. & She doesnt even have to compromise the sound
  9. Loool i can see that. She was probably giving that description as they continued to craft the sound
  10. But Lana has had traces of jazz in her stuff in the past with You Can Be The Boss & Hundred Dollar Bill lol. Which she both gave great performances on. So shes going to be fine lol. & Since described it as future jazz, i doubt its going to be exactly that. Most likely it'll be a variation of it, but a little more bluesy im assuming because of Dan's sound with Black Keys. But we'll see. & Like someone mentioned, Emile did the bulk of Born To Die.
  11. Just sitting back and thinking about the fact that Lana is working on Ultraviolence with both Emile & Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys for Ultraviolence makes me realize how rich & deep in sound the album is going to be. & The description "Future Jazz" that Lana posted via Instagram kind of says it all. As well as the fact that Dan Auerbach in an interview with BBC even classified it as a sonic monster. “It’s a monster. It’s a sonic monster. It’s beautiful. I can’t wait for people to hear it. (…) [is it that sort of similar kind of widescreen cinematic feel to it?] It does, but even more so, you know I think a lot of her first record was just kind of, you know, was in the box, recorded, but this is a 7-piece band with her singing live in the studioo so there’s some kind of, uh, really magic, magical moments that we got to capture on tape, and, uh, you know, the kind of thing that you just can’t duplicate with, uh, Pro Tools kind of recording, you know what I mean? It’s a different thing for her even though her personality is still definitely there and shines through.”
  12. Lana Del Rey feat JAY Z - Live Or Die [urban Noize Remix] (Preview) Because we're not sure when were going to release this one, we felt like sharing a preview of it. As always, it combines the great dynamics of both Lana Del Rey & JAY Z. Making for something captivating & too cool. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfFaq6qejRc Artwork By Trash Magic
  13. Lana Del Rey - Summertime Sadness [urban Noize Remix] From the moment i heard Lana's beautiful hypnotic & euphoric vocals apart from the original music, the inspiration & vision for the remix instantly hit me. And just like that it came together. The sound of it is beautiful, vintage psychedelic pop. A genre that her voice is well at home with. Looking forward to releasing this soon. https://soundcloud.com/urbannoizeremixes/lana-del-rey-summertime

  22. @@Ultraviolence's analysis on TROPICO was pretty much accurate and spot on. Couldn't have said it better. & As far as my view on it, i can see and understand how she decided to use some of her favorite icons John Wayne, Elvis, Jesus, and Marlin Monroe as kind of like the God like inspiration that influence and effect her life. & Tying that into the biblical themes she grew up with, with her being raised catholic at some point. Like she really incorporated parts of her life and beliefs into this symbolic piece of art. While still communicating the themes of lost innocence, love, and redemption. & I feel like Anthony Mandler did a good job with her vision. Although, as someone pointed out, i could only imagine what Woodkid wouldve been able to do.
