Lyrically I think Forget has the most impact on me (excluding Happy). Really listening to the lyrics, it's a great lesson that Marina clearly learned first hand. It is important to forget about the past and stop stressing or being bitter about how things could've been.

Forget is heartbreaking especially the outro and how she just ends the song with "sometimes you have to learn to forget about it" like idk but i feel like that one line is so powerful and delivers so much emotion from marina

Smh y'all Weeds is definitely the wost. Honestly Gold didnt grab my attention at first but I really love it now. The only song I absolutely cannot get into is Weeds, though it is sweet.

Gold Coins? Really? I'm done with the Sucker era if she sleeps on Famous... That's honestly the only song on the album I could see becoming a hit...

Side Note: the most redeeming quality of Weeds is definitely the guitar solo. I really dig it. I also like the line "I miss all of my exes, they're the only ones who know me, and god knows that sex is a way to feel a bit less lonely".

I think what makes Weeds mediocre is the chorus... The verses and that guitar solo are amazing.

Most UK Angels I know bought through USA Amazon/iTunes, I expected this much.

You guys don't think "Die Tonight" makes sense so let's listen to "Sucker" together, shall we?

Yea imo the only redeeming quality of the lyrics is the "magic in our veins" and "blood" lines, because I think those are very Charli lines, and it gives it a bit of character.

Exactly. It's interesting that songs some people think are the best (Blue, Savages, Solitaire) are thought to be the worst by others. I think every song on the album is great. Except Weeds which is good but seems like the obvious weakest track.

I think it's a sign on how good the album is when everyone has to argue which songs are they think are the worst/ best.

But Black Roses is so good live! I wish she kept Lock You Up.

Omg YAAAAS That she's still doing Black Roses because people shit on it but it's one of my favorites so I love that Charli apparently loves it to choose it as one of her only 4 TR songs.

But EW that she's not doing Lock You Up,..

Given how she basically said TR was her trying to be cool and Sucker is actually her should we take bets on her saying her label orchestrated Sucker since she's working with Sophie on j-pop/alien shit

Um the raaaaaaace part is lovely... She's just holding a note at the end of a song... You's a bunch of haters.

The thing is, everyone calls Savages and Immortal cliche and pretentious or whatever, but I don't think they are. I really do think she's a good enough lyricist to pull them off. I think the people who think they sound pretentious or cheesy perhaps think so because they don't expect such "deep" material from a pop artist who wrote a song called "how to be a heatbreaker".
