That was simply because a) SNL and Interscopes fear that the public wouldn't be interested in her b) after the dates in Europe, SS became a smash and suprise hit in the States and there was no time left to plan a US tour. With a new album out, if it sells, she will tour in the States. Not an overlong tour probably, but the demand is there and she will acknowledge it.

Lana won't be forced to make music she doesn't want to. When it comes to promoting, that's another case. When a label wants you to tour, you will tour. When they don't like your album, they won't promote it properly. When they don't see you as somebody who brings them cash, they drop you after an unsuccessful era or two. The label has the last word, not the artist. Very few people have full creative control in the musicbiz and many of them are on indielabels, like Björk.

I am really here to see her having even more success for the next era than with BTD. On the other hand, you can never predict success. If she and Interscope want huge success with this era, she will need the help of airplay this time, which doesn't mean she has to come up with something generic. They just have to push the single big time on radio. And touring of course. If you wanna be heard in America, press isn't that effective. You need radio support and tour the country.

She must be pretty much high priority this year for Interscope, right? I mean the only female this year releasing as well is Madonna and Madonna isn't really a huge album seller these days. She could totally benefit from that.

Meh, I don't care about Oscars. I want ha new alberm, that's all. She will outsell them all either way one more time. She is ready for a round of snatching wigs. Weaves will be flying like confetti.

Well, whatever the new album may sound like, Hitsdailydouble have just released the building chart for this week and Lana is at No.32 in her 102nd week. I guess, Interscope does not have to worry when it comes to her sales in the US anymore.

Emile put his stamp on BTD. Dan and Rick Nowels on Paradise. I prefer BTD definately. Out of these three, I prefer Emile.

Quite drastic move to unfollow her, so def a fall-out. I would have understood it with Rick Nowels who made it pretty easy for fans to leak her material this summer. We also still don't know if he is involved in makin the record. I really don't know what to expect. The title indicates a bigger sound, darker, but it also could mean something totally different to her. I also think that the Clockwork Orange influence won't be that big. Maybe she just liked that quote in the book and used it. Emile is in the studio with somebody else now, so I guess she is working with Dan (probably) at the moment

Well, Justin has unfollowed her on Twitter and a fan asked him iif he is involved in making the album and he responded with a short and simple "no"

Well, they also mention Justin Parker as a producer on there and he is def not working on the album.

Does anybody of you check Blake's Instagramm & Twitter? Besides the fact that he is HOT AS HELL, I am 100 % sure, he will be on Ultraviolence and he is constantly posting stuff he is working on. I wonder if anything there is Lana related.
