Guys, you remember the good ol days how we laughed about Mike Will Made It after he tweeted Lana and some of us were afraid as hell Lana might consider working with him because we all thought how he sucks? And a few years later, I wish he produced some of her songs when Beyonce's lead single was produced by him. You know, the lead single of one of the most critically acclaimed records of ALL TIME on Metacritic. How times have changed.

Lana is never posting when there is a big release. Bey and Drake just released. She will wait for another few days until she posts something again or maybe even this weekend we'll get something.

I'd also love a mix of UV and BTD, leaning more towards the production of UV. What made UV was a pretty raw production and it sucks that she and Dan will probably never work again. I'd love to see him back with some energetic songs like West Coast. What killed Hm for me was the vocal delivery (ok, she has gotten better at singing) but it is quite monotone and what was also quite boring was the production. Rick Nowels is simply not a producer that adds some needed edge. Basicaly, serve us more White Stripes and The Black Keys instead of Dido, dear Lana. I posted it before, but when you listen to an album like Lemonade, you can hear all these different influences and styles and you hear how well balanced that album is sonically. And when the lyrics sometimes suck, Bey totally delivers great emotion is her vocal performance. Saying this just on a random note since we had this one not-so-serious thread about Bey being inspired by Lana for Selftitled.

the btd streams are not a thing of the past. the album gets enough streaming points week after week to make her easily chart inside the top200. Even the sales for it are not bad. Week after week 1k-2.5k in the US in pure sales. This is quite a lot for an album this old.

Last week Honeymoon was discounted on iTunes. While it was stable inside of the Top100 and even went like around No.60 on iTunes, it failed to re-enter the Top200. Interesting enough, BTD which was never inside the Top300 on iTunes, is at No.138 this week on BB200. This just shows how important streaming has become for artists. Honeymoon streams are rather tragic, BTD/P was streamed over a billion times on Spotify alone. I hope this shows her how essential it is to have some very strong singles for her next album.

I don't think TOW is filler. It's kinda essential to the story on UV. DLMBM is totally filler though. Swan Song should have been the closing track

I don't even think it's the topics. Many, many songwriters use the same topics, mostly songs about love and doomed relationships. The problem is the songwriting itself by now. Her songs used to tell little stories, they had charme and the lyrics were flowing so well. The structure was also more interesting. They exploded in the chorus and had amazing bridges like in Blue Jeans (one of the best bridges in pop in the last 5 years or so in my humble opion). I'll give you an example to compare. The difference in songwriting is quite evident.
