Do we still get album descriptions from iTunes before releases? Those are very often filled with descriptions about the tracks

I won't miss this pre-release. It made way too many great users stop posting on LB. Way too toxic.

Right...the photos are beautiful and I wouldn't have known they were shot by Chuck if they didn't tell who the photographer was. Gorgeous shoot!

Yep, I think the BNT from Pitchfork will be between one of these songs:
Fingertips
Grandfather
Taco Truck x VB

Taco Truck is a new song, but the transition leads to the demo of Venice Bitch

This is my Ultraviolence, the album I use as the standard for the rest of her career

I'm not trying to be hasty, but I see this album being the first female album to receive a 10 from Pitchfork since Fiona's "Fetch the Bolt Cutters."

"The easiest album she's ever made" yet these songs are so fucking complex so far. She's such a genius.

Just now, DCooper said:Jack Antonoff: "You have a weird whiplash of not knowing what you’re supposed to feel (on A&W) That sensation is across the album: you could dissect the tone of whether it’s hints of gospel or bringing back some of the 808s and the fucked-up side of things. But in the studio, it was just about finding what is shocking in the moment. Lana is boundaryless. She’s reached a point in her work, which is really my favourite place to work from, where there’s nowhere to go but way out into the fucking wilderness artistically. Go chase radio? That’d be so stupid. Go chase trends? So stupid. She created all the trends. It’s a freeing place, if you can accept it. The only place to go is to be a leader."
This album is going to be frighteningly good
Jack Antonoff is KING and I hope they continue working together for a long time.

There’s a playfulness, freedom and an honesty about her immediate reality on her new album, Did You know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd. Tracks flow in a jazzlike trance; classic piano and acoustic songs blend into hip-hop, pop, gospel and choral numbers. Colloquial lyrics move as fast as a Beat writer’s poem: they seamlessly speak to a friend about culture, offer mundane updates on what’s going on in her daily life, present notes on dark relationships. But songs frequently, as Antonoff notes, come together with a “voice of God, some joy or hopefulness”.
ALBUM OF THE CENTURY

"For those still searching for their person, there is always the devotional love that overarches the 77 minutes in the form of God, preacher's lessons, and a warm and wistful spiritualism."

yep, the fact he has Paris Texas as bottom 2, while Floridakilos has Paris Texas as a top 5, there's something for everyoneeee

1 minute ago, Honeyyoung said:where is candy necklace in the ranking of the three insiders?
Rosemead and BoZ both have Candy Necklace directly in the middle, on the lower end of the middle section to be specific
and Rosemead said despite Candy Necklace and Kintsugi being on the lower end for him they're still amazing.

Whack ass "insiders" that aren't BoZ, Kintsugi, 111, or FloridaKilos, you'll actually get the attention your parents never gave you if you start leaking full songs.
