  1. Got my tickets via Stub Hub for the Jones Beach show. The total really wasn't all that bad, and I think my friend and I got great seats. Do you think it was worth paying the a higher price?
  2. Yup, I knew that snippet would just be an intro or a bridge.
  3. Watch some electric guitar drop and everyone suddenly says it's their fave
  4. Same sis, same Nothing has struck me as being as bad (besides HIAB) as "ice cream, ice queen" yet, but VB is one of her most renowned songs to date
  5. Exactly. I think she re-wrote the entire song, so i'm looking forward to what she does with it
  6. Cruel World - 38 Ultraviolence - 22 (-) Shades of Cool - 50 (+) West Coast - 37 Pretty When You Cry - 47 Black Beauty - 46
  7. Idk what songs could be better at ruining my experience at a LDR concert
  8. Jack better be going home tomorrow. Michie is a horrible human being as well, but I think i can handle having him in the house. Jack is a devil
  9. Love Song, California and Bartender are going to send me into a spiral. I just know it.
  10. Yeah, out of all the snippets I can see Bartender being more than a downtempo but we shall see! The Greatest, Bartender and Doin' Time are the three I would think of off the top of my head
  11. Cruel World - 37 Ultraviolence - 25 (-) Shades of Cool - 50 (+) West Coast - 36 Pretty When You Cry - 47 Black Beauty - 45
  12. Maybe, but those songs are just so melancholic and so unlike the film "Grease." I'm definitely thinking The Greatest, or maybe she's filming a Doin' Time music video
  13. What song do you think that casting call for a Lana music video is for? I can't imagine any of these songs having a "Grease" type of vibe besides maybe The Greatest? Maybe she hasn't filmed the double music video in its entirety yet?
  14. Let's hope Happiness is a Butterfly with its lyrics and How to Disappear with its cheap beat don't ruin those chances for a high critic score
  15. the chorus to Love Song and the California snippet in general triggered my depression
  16. This sounds so much better in HQ
  17. Lana's music doesn't age terribly at all for me, so I'm never worried about the music becoming less fresh when it comes out. Paradise is her only record that has really "aged" for me, but not THAT badly that I refuse to listen to it.
  18. The clip overall reminds me of a more pop version of Million Dollar Man
  19. I usually look at records as a whole, so when an album is super cohesive in quality or sound, it ranks higher for me than an album such as Ultraviolence that has some of her career best, but doesn't keep up with the same quality throughout. Ultraviolence just kind of...falls flat for me when Sad Girl comes on. Honeymoon is a tight, sonically cohesive record with a poetic landscape.
  20. They might be floating around on Twitter? The snippets really shocked me by how great they sound. In my opinion it will be one of, if not her best works to date.
