  1. Ugh I get why some people don't like Britney cause of the baby voice and all, but Idk she just gives me life  :defeated: You really don't like any of her songs though? Baby One More Time? Oops I Did It Again? Stronger? Toxic? Everytime? Gimme More? Piece Of Me? Break The Ice? Circus? Womanizer? Till The World Ends? Hold It Against Me?  :toofunny:  :toofunny:  :toofunny:

Break the Ice is her best song, that's all I really have  :toofunny:

  2. I can't listen to most of the songs on Honeymoon because they make me so damn fucking sad. Not because they're bad, quite the contrary. But I don't know how to explain it. UV gives me this dark edgy feel, where as Honeymoon gives me very sad melodic vibes. It's such a beautiful album, but it always tears at my heart strings. I know Lana said UV was unlistenable because to her, that was her saddest album, but to me honestly Honeymoon takes the cake on unlistenable sadness. There's some light moments like Terrences Loves You, Freak, Swan Song, Music To Watch Boys To, but songs like God Knows I Tried, Honeymoon, The Blackest Day, Salvatore, Religion, etc. Idfk man, those are some beautiful tragedies. Truly one of her most interesting, and most depressing albums. 10/10 Lana. I'm listening to The Blackest Day again and damn, I swear I could mistake my house for an onion cutting facility right now.

It's her saddest album by FAR - totally agree with you. Ultraviolence is too melodramatic to be sad for me. Honeymoon has the quiet and ethereal sadness found in the greatest poetry.

  3. i've now gotten to the point where i can no longer tell if ultraviolence is still my favorite lana album

i think honeymoon may have taken over. i still love uv all the same, but i just now get this kinda indescribable feeling when i listen to like any song from honeymoon

she really fucking did that with this album

i would now like to personally take back any negative thing i've ever said about this amazing body of work (bar the album cover. i like it more now than on release but to this day it remains a choice)

Thankfully you have seen the light. Honeymoon is a masterpiece  :defeated:

  4. Why are people discussing what Lana's best song is again? Like, it is impossible for everybody to agree, how can you be bothered to waste your energy? Just enjoy her music.

I can't wait to hear NFR and maybe have a new personal favourite. So many exciting things to come, like I feel like we've had such an insight via the 3 songs she's released and yet we still have the whole album to hear! Aghhhhhh

We're not being serious or trying to change anyone's mind, lol. But yes, same

  5. March = St. Patrick’s day = clover

Venice Bitch = crimson & clover

Lana : wanted VB to be the lead

[ Theory for March release ]

Also, is there anyone else thinking this album is having some cool parallels to LFL?

Cinnamon is like a Cherry pt. 2

In Your Car is like White Mustang pt. 2

Hope is like Change pt. 2

    Thought that was cute

Her last few records have been very Ying & Yang for me.

Honeymoon completed the Ying & Yang of Ultraviolence, and now Norman Fucking Rockwell is completing Lust for Life for me, not in terms of sound, but the comparisons you've already mentioned.

  6. I have a feeling we'll get the official release date, lead single, art cover and preorder on the same day. Maybe even the tracklisting.

I just don't see it coming any later than March 29th. We already have three tracks, and the "lead single" is coming soon. Pretty sure the lead single, album cover, and release date will come at once during the second or third week of February
