4 stars from The Guardian? Didn't they hate her music for many years? Or was that a different magazine?

It follows unmelodic patterns.
Didn't you make a claim that you're a musician two seconds ago? I guess you and bartenderrr can keep each other for company in your club of imaginary resumé's. "Unmelodic" isn't being used correctly. Whether dissonant or meandering, the songs still have a melody. Catch up.

If you don't understand what a melody is, maybe you should stop running your mouth? Just a thought

SpoilerCandy Necklace has the catchiest, most infectious melody of the entire album. I love how that catchiness is juxtaposed against some really dark lyricism. What a haunting song and certainly in my top five from the album. This melody won't leave my brain. I love her so much.

Yeah, it doesn't sound THAT bad. You can hear all of the lyrics and the melody clearly enough. The HQ will make it really punch.

Just now, DCooper said:How's the Candy Necklace quality, just got home and I'm about to listen in full and thought we had Candy Necklace in HQ now but I just saw it's LQ
It's a phone recording of the vinyl, but it still sounds better than any of the "rosemead exclusive baby" messes.

SpoilerA&W, Candy Necklace, Jon Batiste Interlude, Kintsugi, and Fingertips. My wig has been completely eviscerated by this track run. These songs are the pinnacle of Lana's craft imo.
-
SpoilerCandy Necklace, Kintsugi, and Fingertips are a trio of darkness. Holy moly. Heck, I'll even add A&W to this, but it's almost like A&W was setting the scene for the darkness of these three amazing songs.

If you read between the lines and not just what you want to hear, you would comprehend I wasn’t blaming Jack for the piano ballads but rather him being a one trick pony and being Lana’s yes-man. Bounce. You just said that you blame Jack Antonoff for Lana creating piano ballads. Read what you wrote. Scram.

A producer's function is to convey their artist's wishes. They aren't holding Lana at gunpoint to create "piano ballads" in order to torture you.

SpoilerAbsolutely no skips on this album for me, I love how much of an experience it feels like listening to it, no wonder why I have zero attention span for movies when I have LDR records and good books near me
-
SpoilerTaco Truck sounds like a song you listen to as a vacation comes to a close, having some drinks at the beach at sunset, I love it so much

SpoilerThe original vinyl girl said Candy Necklace is "magical" and one of her favorites, and @West Coast said Candy Necklace is a top 3 track for him on this record. I'm sold.

Just now, DCooper said:Okay wow I am honestly so speechless I just finished listening again, this album is absolutely mindblowing. A complete work of art from start to finish!!!!!!! Not a single misstep in my opinion, she is literally a genius. This album feels like watching the best film you've ever seen, she does SO much and manages to make it all come together so brilliantly. I have total chills

Some of you really have run off some amazing members with your draining negativity; hope you're feeling proud of yourselves.
Glad that there doesn't seem to be two versions of Candy Necklace anymore. I have no idea what that reviewer was on.
