Kintsugi rated the album 8/10 and I think that's a very fair and honest rating. At least he hasn't been going around saying the album is completely flawless True! and the fact that BoZ said the Kintsugi lyrics aren't anything special compared to the rest of the album, especially up next to Fingertips

I hope i'm wrong! Just don't want to be disappointed, so I'm keeping my expectations low

NFR's acclaim set the bar too high, I have a hard time imagining that she'll reach that again so soon. Especially when Ocean Blvd didn't receive best new music. I predict 8/8.5 from Pitchfork and an overall score of 80-84 on metacritic.

This album is definitely giving winter vibes to me, or at least parts of spring where you're stuck inside all day due to the rain and have nothing but your own thoughts to keep you company

Well said! It's not going to be a Honeymoon/COCC level of cohesion where everything sounds part of the same universe, but it seems to have a narrative and distinctive sections to the album that make the album as a whole cohesive

Idk, this album might not necessarily be cohesive in traditional ways that we would expect an album to be, but the track-list and everything shared so far makes me think this will be a very cohesive record in terms of its chaotic, lyrical nature and its focus on her friends and family. I also still think the four sides of the vinyl really do split the record into four different sections, wrapping it all together (Cinematic and wild side A, Raw, strange and experimental side B, diaristic/jazzy/wordy/fragile/emotional side C, and then the crazy, fun and berserk side D)

Side B will be the strangest side to a Lana record ever..but I'm here for it.

Honestly, if BoZ is correct that there are much better lyrics on the album than the lyrics to Kintsugi that were shared, I already know this album will be my #1

She definitely won't release an interlude. However, I 100% see her putting out "Sweet," "Candy Necklace," or "Margaret" next.

I think that was the Candy Necklace song title, and we eventually found it via Aha Music which is a better version of Shazam

Based on the title alone and the lyrics we do have, Kintsugi is the track in my mind that really connects with the standard edition album cover. I think she put it as track 8/16 for a reason.

Agreed! It's going to be amazing but I'm not sure if it will be the #1 main girl like VB was, I think there will be much more competition this time around
