Did you hear LFL though? The production on some songs was messy and didn’t fit fully. I think the most cohesiveness about that album was Summer Bummer & Groupie Love weirdly. I’m actually glad she’s working with Jack because it seems that she’s actually getting more creative with her lyrics now too along with the instrumentals being something DIFFERENT. Yeah she’s always sang about NY but she’s not just singing about NY now. It’s different. This album to me feels very very special coming from the girl who brought us BTD who “raises hell all over town”. Working with Jack and given her a different perspective I think she wanted to come across in LFL but failed in the execution, yet NFR actually executes perfectly (imo)

It’s the guitars used and synth I think. Maybe they used some similar mellotron recordings and that’s why?

I’m so happy with this album’s release cycle all happening within a month. Maybe we should expect this next time too, instead of wanting it as soon as she says the album title (or releases 2-3 tracks lolol)

I’ve heard The Greatest and I’m just not sure if I wanna save FIILY now that I’ve heard one. I think I’ll try and hold off until next week so I have another track between the album and now. 1 song satisfies me enough especially when it’s the greatest song of them all

I don’t either, same thing happened with Swan Song too, the album wasn’t finished after that. I think we can safely say she’s not done creating music. Especially with that LFA track last week, shes definitely not done

I heard the description of “Beatley” and I can’t say this enough, it is FUCKING beatley I CANT STRESS THAT ENOUGH This is her follow up to UV I was always wanting

Guys this is one of her best songs ever. The Greatest sits up there with Brooklyn Baby, Flipside, Venice Bitch, West Coast, and Shades of Cool for me. Those are probably my top 5 favorites not in any order but this one squeezes easily right on that list

I think for me the most: FIILY, HIAB (finally), and NFR The least: Bartender and California I just don’t really know what to expect from those two bc I don’t remember the lyrics much so I don’t remember the melodies

I hope it was actually changed to “he was cool as fuck, he was cool as fuck” bc I want this album to be as explicit as possible!!!! Draw the line between her and radio friendly hahaha and especially because Lovesong says “fuck” but isn’t tagged as explicit

I have a feeling like it’ll be this album’s Shades of Cool
