Who knows? We said the same kind of thing when UV came out and then HM came out 15 months later which isn’t that much more than a year. I’d expect between June - October, but remember she also said she could jam out with her friends, record an album of covers in a day and release it the next day. So it could happen at any point, just more likely toward the later part of the year. Also, she made LFA in a day and released it asap so it could be as soon as she finishes the last track

Don’t forget, the original NFR sessions had some of those doowap tracks. She said she had a few before the album became what it is today. Those demos i truly hope leak bc we all know she won’t use them

They’re definitely still friends. She wrote Coachella after she was in the crowd with Josh’s (FJM) wife, so maybe she would be down. Especially after the Freak video, this is all i’ve wanted is one song, let alone an entire record lol but you’re right, who knows, she’s definitely a chameleon with a disco ball mind cx

Lonerism is a good album and Currents is my favorite of his (but tbh my bf has a first pressing special edition vinyl copy of Innerspeaker and i’m very proud to say that i’ll be listening to that soon when we get a place together in the near future bc i fucking love that album) Kevin has been one of those producers that, you’re right, is very particular about what he makes. He makes absolute fucking jams, the entire Currents album changed my life at the end of high school for me, something like a cross between Eventually with Lana’s voice oooo.... Also, can we get FJM and his team working on an album with Lana? PLEASE? A collab record just with him. Imagine a I Love You Honeybear + Lana or a God’s Favorite Customer + Lana omg

I don’t think it’s off the table. I think when she finds inspiration with one artist person who connects with her, she makes the music she’s wanting to make and she feels is right. Sometimes she makes bigger music. She just needs to meet him at a party (Florence, if you’re ever on the internet and read this, you’re friends with both, get them together... PLEASE)

I think it’s pretty obvious Lana’s working with Jack again on this project but here’s my list of producers I’d love for her to work with at some point, on this record or on future projects •Tyler The Creator - He seems to be friendly with her. She performed at his Camp Flog Knaw festival a few years ago and I love his production style. I don’t think she needs his hip hop beats but i do feel like he know what he’s doing when he makes sick instrumentals and sick music. •Kevin Parker/Tame Impala - His vibe. His sound. I would absolutely love hearing news that they’re working together on something, especially if it’s in the vein of his Currents album or even his new album. This for some reason seems unlikely... but i’d love to hear the sound •SOHN who works with BANKS on some of her stuff. I feel like he’d do a really good job at mixing Lana’s vocals with trip hop beats, especially those high vocals

I don’t think he would have anything to do with this project. He’s too busy coming up with melodies for Lana to write to on her next album and working on two or three other projects as well. I really don’t think he’d have time to do anything with this (although it’d be cool if Rick would do some small instrumentals for the background...)Especially bc he’s mainly a producer and music mixer, there are audio teams who work on mastering and mixing solely audiobooks

This would be cool, i still dream of the demo version of NFR that she sang on live one time. Weirdly, when i sing the title track I usually change the second “your head in your hands as you color me blue” in the second chorus to “your head in your hands you think you’re Norman fuckin’ Rockwell too” bc it fits and i feel like it should’ve been the lyrics (even though there’s no proof that she ever had that lyric in mind ever hahaha)

this makes me think it’s being mastered. like the audio files themself are actually being cleaned up and taking longer to clean up. if it was just her reading her poems and shit, it could easily be recorded one day and released the next so give that she’s taking an extra MONTH. i wonder how she’s going to do it. is it going to be one long 30-40 minute track? will it be separated by poem/track? will there be backing noises/instruments or will it just simply be her reading them? will she have an introduction to the whole thing? inb4 it’s honeymoon hotline quality voicemail recordings.... -_-

Didn’t she say the proceeds for that song was going to a cause tho? Without putting it on an album she won’t have to separate proceeds for that track from album sales so I guess it’s her way of making it “easier” or cheaping out of you see it that way
