Are those not misheard lyrics though? She clarified in the Tiktok that it's "Got a cop who turned down the back beat" just like how the lyrics in Get Free are "For Amy & for Whitney", she censors it to being "For ___ and for ___" but it doesn't add random lyrics there. Of course, you could argue that she's singing the original lyrics, because she then sings "Like I'm invisible, you should've told me" which isn't in the final track. But "God's a charlatan down the back beat" doesn't make sense That's it, that's all I wanted to say

I can't tell if she's being inspired by Billie Eilish or if she's just stuck in a bad loop. It reminds me of a parent who's trying too hard to stay cool and be cool with her kids and her kids friends but she's just... not anymore at least she's left this look behind

If it's easier on her to reuse some old stuff, I wouldn't be opposed to an entire album of old unreleased stuff being reworked, if it was an album of that. Like give Jack 25 tracks, let him do the instrumentals, have him record the new vocals, and then be done with it. If there's new lyrics, so be it, but it'd be reworked and we'd always have the leaked versions so it wouldn't change what we have. It'd just be in addition to it plus it could be released digitally with an RSD vinyl and just do a cd print for Target and a vinyl thing through Target and Urban Outfitters. Not 6 vinyl variants or cd versions, just 1-2 different ones

oh yeah, by february 2013, she was writing/recording for UV Unrelated to the quoted post: i'm gonna stay an outtake/bsides truther! It's not a new album, but it's technically new music and I think it kind of makes the most sense as a surprise that she could announce soonish, with the album out in less than 2 weeks. if she announced on tuesday that there's "a little something up my sleeve for next friday" or something cute like that, i think that'd be all that's needed. the fans will listen to those tracks, it'd keep people listening to the album and pushing it on streaming. it'd keep her streaming numbers up and could prove that she can keep her streaming numbers up without a physical release to executives at the label who are worried about digital releases. of course it'd suck to not have those tracks physically, but maybe it's being saved for the vinyl boxset, set to be pre-orderable on the same day as release? i've convinced myself
