I just looked up the plot of this movie and it does seem very possible Lana watched it and was inspired in some way by it! It definitely reminds me of Kinda Outta Luck and Off to the Races lol

I think this is very likely and perhaps they were also listening to come up with music video ideas or even planning out a tour

I'm not sure if they are the same shoes, the ones on the mv set seem to be slip-on and without anything covering the heel, but the ones Lana is wearing coming out of the church definitely have a back covering the heel and also have laces too But I do think the lady having the production gear is interesting

I think what you are missing here is that Lana's goal has never been to release the next big pop hit that will go viral on Tiktok Her goal has always been to release her art and the music that she is happy with. She is always genuine in what she releases and, sure, she could've gone the complete pop route after BTD but thats not what she wanted. So that is why it is so pointless for you to say her music is "bombing" when having a big hit never mattered to her in the first place
