    I'm not even a native but it seems pretty clear that the line "Why do we keep when the water runs?" means that they're unsure why they should keep sacrificing themselves for a relationship while it's pretty clear that this will never work ("water runs" might also be crying, basically).
     
    The song makes perfect sense and YES sometimes it feels like French lines were translated in a too literal way, but it still makes sense.

    By the way, does anybody have informations on Glow ? I love this song so much (every version that leaked, btw), but my favorite is the Dubstep Version. I wonder if this is actually something made by Charli or if this is fanmade..

    Thanks, I'm so happy that I finally have an answer and wrecked because this is the best version of Glow I can think of. I was truly excited to see Charli trying to revolutionize pop with other genres.
