i don't really get that, they were probably saying "i love you" to show support for her, it's a lot better than dragging her for buying a dress from shein or whatever, & i wouldn't be surprised if people were doing that, it seems like people have lost a sense of empathy & respect these days, people care way too much about being woke

assuming that she deleted her post about her grandmother because of the comments... it's so disgusting that people can't even act respectfully & accordingly when somebody is publically grieving the loss of a loved one, anybody who commented about her buying from fast fashion companies, or anything about the upcoming album, should feel ashamed because that's so disrespectful & inappropriate, she deserves so much better than this, i don't blame her for closing her main instagram account

mermaid motel (nkf version) is definitely evocative of a lot of elusive memories, landscapes, & dreams, i'd love that kind of spiritual energy for ldr9 in any way, & i would agree that mermaid motel (nkf version) is purple... a warm-toned, hazy purple, yet, a lot of other colors too, grandoise, hazy, nostalgic rainbows, can that version of mermaid motel be defined by, or only invoke 1 color? i don't think so, if this album is a purple album it'll definitely have some mystical, surfy elements

this makes sense considering the nfr/beachy aesthetic of the jacket! a record titled "diamonds 'n clover" produced by mike dean sounds HEAVENLY! i feel like it mixes luxurious (diamonds), pastoral (clover), & nautical (nfr vibes) elements all together! also, if we're assuming this would be produced primarily by mike dean, i can't help but think of marijuana when i think of "clover" in the title however, i certainly don't mind trippy/psychedelic elements!

i wouldn't say so, because the original file has it titled as "rough keys" & there's another version which is produced by dan auerbach, & maybe that version is more "complete"? i don't know if she'd use his version though, i wouldn't think she's use the leaked version either because it is quite rough

possibly, i don't know if she's going to announce the album quite yet, since she probably needs the time to grieve her grandmother, which is totally understandable, but at the same time, music could be a way she copes & grieves so it's possible that she'll still focus on recorded/writing music, but i don't know when she'll announce or publicly talk about ldr9 because i'm sure her main focus right now is her grandmother & taking the time to mourn her loss
