i think fmwuttt could be about a variety of things, i think there's a lot of bitterness in that song about the way she was treated by the media & general public in general, which likely includes other artists unfairly critizing her, like lorde & kim gordon

i can understand why chemtrails & perhaps nfr may be underwhelming, however, even those albums which are divisive have stand-out tracks! venice bitch, california, the greatest, bartender, white dress, tulsa jesus freak, dark but just a game, & yosemite... she really never misses

i think lana & her team have every right to want their credit if it's evident that another artist had copied from her work without her permission, lana's work & artistry should be respected, just like everybody else's work is, i don't understand how jack didn't notice that both songs sounded very similar and that it might've caused problems, and i'll give lorde the benefit of the doubt that in the moment of recorded/producing the song, she probably wasn't aware that it sounded a lot like wild at heart/hope, however i feel like jack should've known better, and i agree that it'd be very upsetting if a fellow alternative artist dragged you down because they didn't agree with how you'd express yourself, and later on possibly copied your work, this situation could've easily been avoided if somebody would've just changed up the song or wouldn't let it be released sounding like another song

i don't see what this has to do with stoned at the nail salon, and her dispute with radiohead is over & old news, a lot of people believed that lorde's song sounded too similar to wild at heart & hope, so it's not like lana doesn't have any say in whether or not she should have a publishing credit, because other people heard it as well, she doesn't even want money for it, she just wants some of the credit for it's very similar sound

i don't see how lana wanting some credit for such a similar sound in another song has anything to do with past claims about lana ripping off other songs, and the only instance of that which i can think of is with creep, jack should've known better than to have two songs he worked on sound so similar

i actually had a similar mindset before we found out she reworked certain songs for blue banisters, i didn't think it made any difference and she could add songs which were new & unheard, but i totally respect her decision to add leaked songs and i'm actually really excited to hear the new versions! it's her work which was never supposed to come out, she still has the right to use them in her official projects, it's not her fault they were stolen & leaked! i think she chose the perfect songs to rework/release, queen of disaster & serial killer can stay unreleased
