  3. reading this thread as somebody who appreciates and loves her work from both nfr/cotcc and her previous eras
  4. just because her voice has changed and matured doesn't mean born to die has "aged like milk" if that's the case, you could say that about all of her past work, including sirens & aka, and every unreleased song from pre-fame, even the ultraviolence era because she doesn't sing like that anymore, artist's voices will change and mature during their career but it doesn't mean their past work has aged poorly...

  6. i don't hate jack either and i don't have any reason for hating him, i appreciate his work and i think nfr & cotcc are gorgeous albums, and like @IanadeIrey said, they serve a purpose, but i am ready for something new and i feel like mike dean is a great fit for lana, and he seems really cool and also really funny, i'm feeling really positive about it!
  7. this is amazing, i love how you said this, and you're absolutely right, we shouldn't discredit any of her past work as inauthetic or less significant just because it might be slow, mellow or you can't twerk to it

  16. so... blue banisters is a sonic mix between honeymoon, born to die, a little bit of ultraviolence, and maybe a hint of chemtrails? we're shook
