this is so exciting! what i love about this era is that there’s so much to be excited about, we don’t really have a definite “fan-favorite” (except maybe yosemite, dark but just a game, & tulsa jesus freak) but there’s something to look forward to with every track off of this album! white dress is going to be melancholy & gorgeous, and it’s about the may jailer / lizzy grant era tulsa jesus freak is already a bop, and it’s iconic lyrically wild at heart is described as a “country song” yet that could really mean anything, it could be folky, it could be psychedelic, possibly even experimental, or it’s more of a rock song with a rural influence dark but just a game is an amazing and intriguing song title with an interesting meaning behind it, i feel like it’s going to be dark and melodic, yet folky and casual not all who wander are lost is going to be very whimsical and beautiful, like a classic disney movie yosemite is obviously going to be an iconic and monumental moment for the fandom, and the fact that it’s described as a sweet acoustic love song... and it has bongos and the tambourine... breaking up slowly will be ten dollar ring 2.0, i just know it dance till we die will be heartfelt, relaxing, and folky, retrospective, introspective, and a very nice, pleasing track over all and of course, for free will be a beautiful closer for the album, and it will definitely fit the vibe of the album thematically i’m really excited for the night of the release, i have a feeling it’s going to be very special (and chaotic ) i have a really good feeling about this album, i think i’m really going to enjoy it and it’s going to be a special moment

lana del rey is the queen of referencing junk food, nobody else can do it like her i want a lyric as unique & evocative as "you look like a florida native, are you? i said, at the rate of, slow molasses from the state of vermont with a southern drawl" it's such a beautiful lyric, an all-time favorite of mine

this music video is iconic and it's such a lizzy grant kitschy vibe, it's quite interesting how it's similar to this era, with the swimming pool, and the rollerskating, but the cotcc aesthetic is a little more refined and subdued, not as bright and campy, i'd love to see a colorful, surfy aesthetic for a future project, something that's very 80s, 90s, & y2k

i love music that's reminiscent of nature, and the beauty of our universe, there's something so psychedelic, familiar, and universal about it, i feel that way about a lot of the "ldrakalg" album, i hope cotcc has a similar vibe, the fact that yosemite was described as "acoustic" and a "return to nature" is very promising! i also feel this way about the title track, there's this specific vibe, of a bright summer morning, with a bright blue sky, and bright green grass, it's nostalgic, summery, and peaceful

it's possible that "not all who wander are lost" could be similar to a classic disney movie, like cinderella or snow white, considering the fact that it's produced by jack antonoff, it'll likely have a naturistic, organic, acoustic vibe, so it could be similar to her beautiful cover of "chet baker" which is sweet and whimsical, yet still acoustic

i totally agree, fordham road, oh say can you see, yayo, axl rose husband, elvis, on our way, joshy & i, all beautiful & special... i've been saying this entire time that i want a whimsical, nostalgic, acoustic guitar sound for this era and i really manifested it that kind of vibe is really nostalgic for me, and the fact that this album is inspired by the midwest, which is where i live...

i feel like white dress is going to be very raw, authentic, and different, but also very special and a classic in her discography, i'm excited to hear her "trembling, not great" voice, i feel like it's going to be different from what we've heard before, imagine her voice being similar to "my momma" "out with a bang" or "peace"

the fact that we don't really know what to expect is very exciting! despite the fact we have some sort of idea of what we're about to hear, for example, wild at heart being country, it's still a mysterious, will it have a folk sound? will it be rock-oriented? will it have a psychedelic element? we really won't know until we hear it, but that's what's exciting about this era, i can't wait to hear the album for the first time, it's going to be such a beautiful and exciting experience

i had a dream last night that i was listening to the album, and everyone hated it wild at heart was an off-beat electronic mess, and not all who wander are lost & dance till we die had the exact same intro, as if it was the exact same song, it was a mess thankfully, wild at heart is actually going to be a rural psychdelic & folky queen of the gas station 2.0!
