very unpopular opinion but i really liked last year's carpet it was so midcentury

not really feeling this year's... not a huge fan of that combo of green and purple and the carpet itself looks grass-stained

also, why does the ceiling look so splotchy?

today, i decided to wear my blue dress with tropical flowers on it that i call my hawaiian tropic dress and my kitschy pink plumeria earrings... perhaps tropical florals don't scream garden of time necessarily... but it's my garden of time and i choose the flowers!

Last night was quite interesting. Me, Lizzy, Kate and Mitski had an intense moment when Lizzy decided to play us some of her favorite music on her 3$ CD player. I think Mitski broke down on the floor. It's clear that we models have a lot of suppressed anxiety, maybe we should get a shrink on site? Wouldn't be a bad idea.

the story is kind of melancholic, really and the human history has really shown us the endless cycle of creation and destruction and while i get the message that dystopian and apocalyptic horrors are destroying the nature, it's hypocritical of the met to invite multi-billionare entrepreneurs like jeff bezos and elon musk who are actively "developing" that dystopian lifestyle and also what's funny is that the honorary chair of this year's met gala is the ceo of tiktok  with tiktok being the main sponsor, like where is the world heading???

obviously i love the met gala since we get to see really cool fashions, but they are literally such clowns for basing their theme off of a story about a dystopian, capitalist society that destroys everything beautiful and good while inviting people who are literally doing just that? just more evidence that hollywood and the mainstream media love to virtue signal while doing the opposite of what they supposedly stand for
