Likewise, some artists really need a label (either big or small) to guide them or provide a good opinion of what songs would be the best or more appealing for their public.
-
To be fair, she released 3 amazing albums and this is her only bad one. It could've been worse. It really fucks me over how alternative and experimental was her past album and I thought she would follow the same path but no, she went full generic.
-
The whole Halsey thing is fake, obviously. It's just marketing. Poor Sky though lol. It's almost as of Halsey and Capitol are making fun of her.

My selection is: Misunderstood Meteorite Deadend Holding Back Burn Birds by the Sea Anything 4 U The rest are either OK or meh to me.
-
As I have seen on other boards, most of her fandom is unhappy with Serpentina. There's only a small bunch of fans who really like Serpentina as a whole. To be fair, is my less favorite album but there are a few songs I really like.

Well, Halsey has done the right thing and has released mainstream sounding albums/songs to make the label (who invest the money for music, shows and releases, duh) happy and get big sales/streams. That's why Halsey had the permit to release more experimental/alternative music like "Nightmare" and the rest of "If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power". But Sky is very tough/hard and won't listen to the label. She needs to understand that first she needs to pay the money she owes and then she can be the artists she wants to be. But it's almost as if she wants everything for free lol

It's a shame "Serpentina" wasn't much of my taste. I haven't played it in ages. Meanwhile I keep revisiting "III" very often.
-
Always your flawless taste comes through

It's "Surrender My Heart". I know right? But hopefully she has already sent the final songs to press so she won't be allowed to make changes lol We do, we really do.
-
LIVESTREAMS Credit to the uploaders. Finally, we can hear "Stagger" in high quality. Both shows are great, but I prefer the latest tour one, the audio quality is 10000x better. By any chance has anyone ripped the audio into fan-made live albums?
-
I Pray for Rain and Descending are the obvious big single choices. She just fucked up.
-
I haven't replayed it that much as I thought I would. I replayed DL way more in its first three days than DF. I feel like DL has way more replay value with how intricate the production is.
-
Highway to Your Heart is the only song I have been replaying from this album. I love it so much.
-
Halsey has been right about a lot of things Except singing at that mall lol

"I’m hoping that these streaming services don’t compress the fuck out of the song. I did a mix and a master, and according to people I’ve worked with in the past, they’re like, “They’re gonna compress it.” Then it just sounds completely different. But that’s also me being a control freak at a certain point, because I know once I put it out, it’s no longer mine." She knew Apple Music would fuck up the song sound lol

What the fuck. I really thought the album was coming this year. So maybe the EP rumors are right. I really thought I was the only one who felt like this lol

Masochism, out 2025

It feels strange that this will premiere in a few minutes and my mind acts like this was released months ago. Like in March, lol.

Correct, there was a "Utopia Flutes" (just like "Vulnicura Strings") planned but it's been 5 years already and nothing. I could blame the pandemic but I don't think that's the case as "Vulnicura Strings" and "Vulnicura Live" were released in 2015 along with the original album. At this point, I think she has discarded the plans for Utopia Flutes. As far as I know, there are no demos or early versions of the album in circulation. A live album for Utopia was also in the cards but nothing happened. As far as I know she has recorded (or even filmed) some "Cornucopia" shows and maybe a Bluray or a live album might be released someday. Maybe she plans to release the orchestral shows too either on Bluray or Spotify. Let's hope she does because she sounds amazing.

It's funny because I have always considered post and homogenic a pair. Post = being far away from home Homogenic = being back home. Vespertine = electrónica and microbeats Medulla = no instruments at all Volta = we are destroying earth Biophilla = we are loving earth Vulnicura = I'm heartbroken Utopia = I'm finding love again
-
It's not a bad album, is just an album that around 80% of it sounds very similar to each other and very similar to "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone"
-
Can someone explain to me the whole loop thing? I didn't notice it will playing the album TWICE.
-
I belive the song will be out at the same time as the music video once the countdown is up.
