What is happening to the album/single? Supposedly the second single was planned for February.

I am cautiously optimistic, I believe she is taking a little bit (or way) longer because she is ACTUALLY the main producer or co-producer of the whole album and she is really hands on on the making of the album, the sound, the mixing and etc. The way she wasn't on L+F (it was a cute experiment on being on the passenger seat instead of behind the wheel, that's it). Either way, I will never forgive her for making the MUNA remix the b-side and make us all wait so long to reveal that. It's a great remix tho, but still... Thank god I waited for the reveal and didn't spend a coin, it was too good to be true. She should learn from Aly & AJ, they are releasing and album next month and they have released 3 singles in the last 5 months and every single has been released on vinyl, each one with an exclusive b-side (either an outtake or a cover). I believe MARINA is someone who actually records more songs than she reveals or releases, ugh. God bless the leakers.

I love CB as a whole but (super unpopular opinion here) I always skip Training Wheels, I hate it big time, I find it super corny.

As a 28 yo Mexican who have lived here his whole life I disagree tbh This is CA by media, not just because you saw it on TV or in the music industry is "something common". There are things that should be kept by the people from a certain culture in order to preserve it. Clearly, Melanie is an attention seeker artist, that's how she has always been, that's her signature and I don't judge her in a bad way, that's just the way she is, it's time to accept that she will always do things (either crazy or plain "differente and unique") in order to stand out because that's her signature and just the way she is. (Again, I'm not saying this as an offense). I really like her music tho, but she most of the times comes to me as someone who should be REALLY careful to not fuck things up in certain cultures and demographic
