No shipping confirmation yet for me, really hope it ships today so I can get my copies over the weekend... They've all been processed now since Tuesday or Wednesday

Anybodys orders from the UK store shipped?

My hmv vinyl just arrived, it's stunning! The disc is definitely marbled, i kinda love the poster too... I also enjoy the small details live the sleeve text having the song titles in red to match the vinyl. But yeah, the packaging is gorgeous! Hoping the hmv CD arrives soon.

I'm really hoping picture disc 3 comes, could it be a RSD exclusive?

I kinda agree but also I don't consider Lana singles to be your stereotypical single... Like it seems to be which songs she likes the most or are most thoughtful to her. So like Let Me Love You Like A Woman was her favourite and therefore the first thing she wanted us to hear. Then Chemtrails she said she loves cos it's about her and her family and that was shown through the video too. With White Dress it's a very personal one and in the Interview interview she said that this song captures the essence of the record the most or something like this was one of the few tracks that actually ended up being like what she was trying to achieve. I don't see them putting out singles for radio or streaming etc. If it weren't for the label I imagine we'd get no pre release songs tbh.

Lust For Life - Post-Release Discussion Thread + Poll

But wasn't the album originally confirmed by Lana to be 18 tracks... -
Honestly this has grown on me so much within the last day, it feels so intimate and perhaps her most authentic work? As much as I love and miss the grandeur and theatrical elements of her earlier works, this feels so natural. I wasn't completely won over by NFR! as a body of work, I enjoy the majority of the material but just not as a collective. Whereas this feels so much more in sync and thought out. I'm loving the simplicity of the production this time around, with earphones it's incredible but even just in the car I've been flawed by this record. So excited to see where she goes next, I'd love to hear Dealer eventually. I do think she has done all she can do with Jack and I'd love her to use Zach for the next record. Thunder would be a great blueprint, i wouldn't even be mad if they did the band project next or the covers record...

Honestly there's a solid sophomore album in here... And you can definitely see her original vision with an ABBA influenced record. It just needs some of the newly recorded songs trimming. This is what I'll be taking: 01. Love Me Land 02. Look What You've Done 03. Poster Girl 04. Need Someone 05. FFF 06. Right Here 07. Wow 08. Stick With You 09. Ruin My Life 10. All The Time

I agree that moving to Columbia Records is a great move for her! Especially after that black friday release that RCA fucked up... But yeah, fingers crossed for a new album later this year and a potential world tour in 2022! Plastic Hearts is the best record she's made for me and has really helped cement her as a pop girl again, especially here in the UK. And I am disappointed that Angels Like You and Plastic Hearts never made it as singles but she's built up a lot of good will and momentum with this era. Her time with RCA has been great though, even if there were a few misses along the way. I mean in the UK she's had 3 top 10 albums, Bangerz (#1), Younger Now (#8) and Plastic Hearts (#4), and the fact that Plastic Hearts is her latest and charted higher than its predecessor shows there's still a demand and interest in her music. She's also had a string of top 40 hits here in the UK too! We Can't Stop (#1), Wrecking Ball (#1), Adore You (#27), Malibu (#11), Nothing Breaks Like A Heart (#2), Mother's Daughter (#29), Slide Away (#40), Don't Call Me Angel (#2), Midnight Sky (#5) and Prisoner (#8)... Even her cover of Heart Of Glass made the top 40! So I'm sure that if she gets something new out soon enough then her next album campaign (and hopefully tour) will be a roaring success! And I can't wait to see it

Ugh this release really coulda been something special, if A. they didn't mess around with the "bonus edition" at Christmas and B. they didn't include We're Good and Not My Problem... My dream version:
