    Ahhhh I really hope 1999 is the start of a new era. I can totally see CTMP and songs with that sound making such a cohesive album.

    Actually I’d prefer to stand. Are you really trying to act superior because you know what a lossless file is? Please don’t pull that audiophile superiority nonsense with someone who has been collecting records since before you knew what a lossless file was. Unless you’re using an audio system thats pushing into the thousands of dollars, your lossless files are pretty much the same as a 320kbps mp3, except theyre taking up more room.

    some thoughts on the final 1999:
     
    -charli's new/more polished vocals are amazing!
    -they replaced the bass sound with a synth, I prefer the demo one
    -the instrumental is much more produced, it's amazing
    -troye sings charli's second verse which leaked in the recording (charli has new backing adlibs on it too)
    -charli's MJ backing is still there, thankfully
    -troye's bridge is okay but very forgettable
    -the ending is way too abrupt, but it's okay because the song is an instant classic

    Like, Troye's music isn't terrible by any definition, but let's not act like he's some visionary or standout vocalist. He's pretty generic tumblr pop lol
