Earlier this week, Lana Del Rey was spotted by a fan dining at Society on Cherry Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. To further confirm her presence in Tulsa, Lana's most recent Instagram post features a selfie of her holding a cup decorated with The Mayo Hotel logo, a boutique hotel in Tulsa. Lana had been known to visit Tulsa to visit her former boyfriend Sean "Sticks" Larkin in the last half of 2019. Allegedly, Sean was seen with Lana at this restaurant. There is speculation that the two may be back together.

Yesterday, Lana Del Rey posed with the owner of The Wild Rose western wear boutique while shopping in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Lana previously visited this boutique in November 2019 during her travels for the 3rd Leg (Midwest) of the NFR! Tour, in which she performed in Albuquerque for the first time. Lana is currently making her way through New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah to support fundraising for the Navajo Water Project.

She's just released "Purple Haze" and its video, and they're both incredible. The track gives me Kali Uchis - Miami vibes & the video Lana - Shades of Cool. Luv this one -

I moved the recent drama following Lana's video announcement to the Instagram Updates thread because, well, everyone already knows all the drama on this site mainly happens in there and it will no-doubt win the Most Dramatic Thread at the Lipster's this year. (& I really didn't want drama clogging up the Violet thread at such an important release time.) That being said, please remember to be respectful when voicing your opinion. Yes, all opinions are welcome, even negative ones, but it is vital to remember that while voicing even negative opinions to remain respectful and not cross the line from sharing an opinion or constructive criticism to just flat out bullying and saying derogatory things. While commenting on one's appearance is something that is personally so weird to me and always makes me uneasy (and has impacted my personal life as well! I haven't left my house without makeup on, hair & nails done, and a dress in 10 years, even to just the grocery store, out of fear of rude judgement, similar to what has happened on this thread today) I do understand that this is a forum where people are welcome and encouraged to voice their opinions on anything. That being said, next time when choosing to comment on appearance, remember there are nicer ways to do so that still can remain respectful rather than being flat out rude and derogatory. Remember to also always be respectful to your fellow LanaBoards users, even in a case of different opinions. There is a line between respectfully disagreeing and flaming arguments. Please be aware of it. Thanks guys x

I’ve been writing these poems over the last few years and I’m very excited to share them with you. Sending you lots of love and be safe out there. Alright guys, I’ll send you more info as I get it. Okay. *kiss* Thanks."

Here's the iTunes pre-order for the virtual e-Book copy of the poetry book. Also, here's the description for the e-Book that reveals a few more poem titles: THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT BOOK OF POETRY FROM LANA DEL REY, VIOLET BENT BACKWARDS OVER THE GRASS “Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the title poem of the book and the first poem I wrote of many. Some of which came to me in their entirety, which I dictated and then typed out, and some that I worked laboriously picking apart each word to make the perfect poem. They are eclectic and honest and not trying to be anything other than what they are and for that reason I’m proud of them, especially because the spirit in which they were written was very authentic.” —Lana Del Rey Lana’s breathtaking first book solidifies her further as “the essential writer of her times” (The Atlantic). The collection features more than thirty poems, many exclusive to the book: Never to Heaven, The Land of 1,000 Fires, Past the Bushes Cypress Thriving, LA Who Am I to Love You?, Tessa DiPietro, Happy, Paradise Is Very Fragile, Bare Feet on Linoleum, and many more. This beautiful hardcover edition showcases Lana’s typewritten manuscript pages alongside her original photography. The result is an extraordinary poetic landscape that reflects the unguarded spirit of its creator. Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is also brought to life in an unprecedented spoken word audiobook which features Lana Del Rey reading fourteen select poems from the book accompanied by music from Grammy Award–winning musician Jack Antonoff.
