    I mean in her pitchfork interview she explicitly says that there will be pop songs on the album and the other song is described as electro-pop, so I don’t believe this is the sonic sound she’s going with for the whole album but I hope there will be more like this

    kinda sucks that’s she’s been gone so long that this isn’t getting a beats1 premiere or anything. She’s like still a pop girl no matter how “alternative” we make her out to be, not to mention she’s signed to a major that could definitely have made that a reality if they cared enough.

    y’all, charles is going to b 30 in ~ 3 years and a few months; which probably frightens me because i’ll be entering my late twenties then but I wonder what it’s going to do with her sound

    But isn’t Bebe mostly writing her own stuff, like Charli? They are both the writer/pop disruptor type. Not saying that it couldn’t happen, obviously they can or have accepted songs from other people... but yeah... idk.

    Charli and a Grammy? The delusion; awards shows don’t mean anything anyway, just be happy she’s making the music she wants and she seems happy.

     

    (But if Ed fucking Sheeran can beat all of those pop girls clearly there is no taste to be found in the Grammy committee)

    I was a huge Kate Nash stan. I still listen to some of her old stuff, but her new songs suck so bad.

    I liked girl talk but honestly haven’t listened to anything since. 3am helped me through some shit obviously made of bricks remains unbothered

    That doesn’t even sound like a good time, while 5itm is a great party song it’s not really a k-hole track (for me). But yeah it’s going to be interesting when Charli gets older and whether or not she keeps up being the queen of parties
