    I've been listening to the Stefflon Don version of bioyl lately and the version we got sounds like it had the soul sucked out of it, like this version could have been played in the clubs

    bit late to the trend ( been offline for a bit ) but I discovered charles through this :

    when she only had nuclear seasons / you're the one out. True Romance was my senior year of high school / first year of art uni.

     

    I also have a distinct memory of a friend burning heartbreaks and super ultra onto cds to give to me before I went on vacation to viêt nam

    i'm going to get yelled at for this but taxi should have been left in 2016 where it belongs. it's cute and bratty which makes sense since it was written on the tailwind of sucker but generally speaking her music has moved past that.

     

    that being said, the pink diamond production is a bore and a shitty knock off of her past work. don't @ me saying i don't have taste because i don't like edge, i make noise/industrial techno and love atonality.

    that being said, i really hope she continues in this direction, the record seems really mature for the most part, emotionally mature too. i was really bummed out by charli but i’m really excited about this.

    is she going to play the entire album before it gets released or release shit one by one ? i don't mind and am grateful to hear the demos and process but i'm going to have to stop listening if i want to listen to it as an album rather than a compilation of a bunch of singles.

     

    idk it's nice to see her experimenting with format but i'm having a hannah diamond flashback
