The twitter support account replied to me with but i'm not sure if this implies they confirm the photo is 100% accurate. i called JPC a couple times and we finally decided they will contact me if they know new info about what vinyls are gonna be in stock. today they only updated the cover for the LP, nothing else i'm pretty sure they're gonna use another picture because otherwise ppl (chuck and val i guess) will be cropped out thanks to the vinyl shape

from what i've seen, stores use the exact same picture to show the yellow vinyl and it's kinda bright gold. there's a similar one --- beige (exclusive to Amazon) that reminds me of bronze edit: thank god the UO vinyl as bad and i don't need to spend like 70 dollars to buy it

i used all my imagination to come up with several explanations lol 1) additional material (deluxe edition) as pointed out above by lamms (weird bc lana doesn't like deluxe versions and kinda implied it's just an 11-track album in the Annie Mac interview) 2) second vinyl is for instrumentals and/or variations of the album tracks, like an MV version of COCC (weird bc lana is lazy for all that) 3) better quality with 45 spins per minute instead of 33 spm which would require 2 vinyls since the album is 45 minutes long 4) different colors for the same vinyls (2x sales lol) 5) second vinyl is a special 7'' one for a single off the album and i don't think it's an error -- the site specifies that the 1LP and 2LP black vinyls are different "formats" + both weight and price of 2LPs are bigger

i'm pretty sure the vinyls we know about already are 1LP and many (if not all) are gatefold, but yeah, as you said, a record can be gatefold but 1LP, i have one in my collection

okay i'm kinda confused now. i've been checking hhv.de and they had the black and yellow vinyls. now i update and two new appear. and like, it says these two are "2LP" and one is colored... idk if this could be incorrect but the weight and price indeed imply these have 2 vinyls in them also idk why but many sites list the label as "Urban" and these two are clearly Interscope

@lamms so i just called JPC and, well, they didn't have any info but assured me they'll ask someone from the company to put up more info about the vinyl today. i still hope we'll get more details about this item by email because they might fuck up the cover and not specify the barcode... btw do u know if mediamarkt/saturn ship outside of Germany? upd: they also just replied to me with this.......

the problem is that different vinyls can have the same barcode. according to discogs, these two are different (black and white), but the barcode is the same. it could be a mistake tho however, i just checked lana's releases since honeymoon and there are no 2 different LPs that have the same barcode except for one honeymoon exclusive release that has different sticker and gatefold barcodes, and the one on the vinyl itself is the same as on the usual black vinyl.

is the barcode argument valid tho? when i surfed discogs a while ago, i think i noticed that different LP versions can have the same barcode...

yeah lol i like that they sell exclusive stuff, i literally bought Sevdaliza's ISON one for the original price from them i also emailed them like 2 days ago but they're pretty busy it seems, so tomorrow i'll call the customer service to get answers

Fnac posted the textless photo so probably yeah btw, do you know if any swedish/scandinavian stores might sell the red exclusive vinyl?

my guess is that since the original photo on Fnac was wrong, they probably replaced it with a 100% accurate picture so there are indeed both variants.

is it true that they don't ship outside of Germany?
