Earlier in her career, she might have frozen. Now, she just sings it acapella, with the crowd stepping in as her own personal choir. “I’m not exactly sure what happened, but I think my keyboard player was playing the wrong chords,” she explains. “I was leaning into him and saying, 'That’s not it, that’s not it’ and he was like, 'That is it, trust me’. "I listened for 10 seconds and I was like, 'Damn, I definitely can’t get it’. I couldn’t get it in rehearsal, either. So I just told him to stop. I feel bad — I was kind of abrasive. i don't think lip syncing BUT the track including vocals were really loud and sometimes she would sing along just whenever instead of the whole way through, you can hear how loud the backing was on the clip of UV when she avoids singing the hit with a kiss part lel. The vocal efforts were pretty meh.

Yup, she absolutely rehearsed it, I heard it too. And I swear Summer Bummer, the backing vocals on that are pretty unique. I thought that was disgusting too! I mean like, -all- of them got in before anyone else? Not fair at all.

The oldies are the ones that made me fall in love with her, it's an honour to hear them live. BUT yeah it's retarded to always play it safe. Same opener, same closer. It's dumb, she has such a vast discography. The a capella in my feelings was wonderful though. Her vocal delivery was... not really bothered. Handing over to the audience a lot, deliberately drowned out by other noise. Like does she completely hate live shows? Just wants to be a studio singer? Idk. What the fuck happened with love btw? More tech issues? I did have a wonderful time, that stuff isn't important while you're watching her. I teared up at Video Games and Ride, they're still such amazing songs. The only thing that i thought was shitty, was her heading down to the crowd, but only the right side, TWICE.
