The only thing I can think about at the ending of Meet the Parents is this:

Oh I didn't know that! Good for her tbh, I'm happy to know she owns most of her albums. Wonder if she doesn't own BTD at all or didn't own at the time of release but owns it nowadays. We should check a more recent physical edition of the album. -

I don't think Cedric's remix of Summertime Sadness would exist if she owned her masters. Like I'm not 100% sure how these things work but Lana wasn't happy at all about this remix so we're safe to assume she didn't authorize it, which means Interscope/Polydor were the ones who allowed him to remix the song. We do know she bought the rights for AKA years after its release though. -
I don't think Lana cares about the situation but maybe she sympathizes with Taylor because she kinda went through the same thing with AKA? She knows what is like to not "own" your own work, and the chances of Taylor buying the rights of her old catalogue back like Lana did are very slim so I'm sure she feels for Taylor.

Now that we've listened to the whole thing it's time to tell: which WOO-AH was your favorite? For me the best one is from Do Me, I love how the beat drops, the music explodes and she screams WOO-AH!

I think Icy is my favorite from the new songs. Shinin' is a close contender though, I really enjoy the lyrics and the song carries a very "closer" (as in album closer) sound if you know what I mean? It sounds final idk how to describe it lol Meet The Parents is cute and silly but it's far from being a favorite.

Look, I like Grimes a lot but her and Lana in the same track would be as messy as this Miley colab -
All I Do Is Cry remains THAT bitch.

Didn't he scrap everything after they recorded together and started the album all over again? -

I think we will get the song (not complete obviously) when the trailer comes out and then the full song will be available on friday. Just a guess though. -

You literally listed two albums from a seven albums discography so I think you've proved my point. -

Pop is literally my favorite genre and Miley Cyrus sucks. Like she's the epitomy of mediocrity, she always follows music trends and she's never done anything out of the box (besides, maybe, Dead Petz). I think she's great as a person, really enjoy her points of view and she was nice in Black Mirror, but her music is just... bad. -

What I want to understand is why are you guys so sure about a music video? Like... I know y'all like to get your hopes up and and then whine about it for twenty over pages but this is a whole new level of delusion. -

I remember when I first saw the new Angels for this reboot I was like "they have nothing in common wtf" so this collab kinda makes sense to me. I just hope both song and movie are good because the 00's ones were amazing. -

I think this means Doin' Time will die which is a pitty bc the song was still growing in the radio and even started to get plays in pop radios without Interscope's support but eh lets get this smash. -
