I feel this era will be a low on her carreer. I mean she's releasing four different deluxe versions and they all have the same fucking cover, while in other eras she released whole magazines and albums with tons of cards. And the cover is not even that cute, it looks like an edit people would make for tumblr icons back in 2014. Let's hope the songs are good at least, ME! is tragic

Remember when I said those things? How wrong I was lmao This album is very consistent. Future is still awful and she should've kept it and Medellin is okay-ish but the rest of the album is amazing. It makes sense as a body of work. I didn't expect her to sing this much portuguese but she served a bilingual album I'm shook she throws a couple of portuguese words in almost every single track. And the transitions are amazing, Dark Ballet/God Control and Bitch I'm Loka/I Don't Search are the best duos. And I love how she and Mirwais found a middle ground between the latin hype and the dark electronic sonority, it's her most Madonna album since Hard Candy. Maybe my expectations were too low but she really surprised me and I feel this album will age very well and it's right in the middle of her discography, if not amongst her best. My highlights are: God Control (the best by far) Faz Gostoso Killers Who Are Partying Crave sounds really lovely on the album and I Don't Search I Find Madonna snapped.

I really do feel this will be our last era for a long while. Every time Lana finished an album she jumped to the next one right after, and I'm not saying she can't be writing new songs alone at her house but I remember right after she released LFL she came back to the studio and the paps would say she would leave only to buy coffee and sometimes she would even sleep there. I'm not saying I want her to work until she's exhausted or something like that but it does feel she has other priorities right now and making music isn't one of them, and it sucks that THIS is the era we're getting before a possible hiatus but secure your wigs sisters and relish the moment because we might not get to experience this anytime soon.
