I thought Brooklyn Baby would be so boring, but i loved it in full so i'll wait to just hear the album. I will say though, i had a feeling this album would be really slow for the most part, and it is, which is fine, but i think the record, as good as it may end up being will most likely be a mood album. What sound good right away from the snippets............Money Power Glory, Sad Girl, Old Money LOL @ her singing Fucked My Way so sweet and lovingly And why are some of you screaming over changes in Black Beauty???.............it sounds exactly like the damn demo.

I love her, i love her depressing songs and her whole...thing. But she can be a fucking stick in the mud sometimes, she really needs to lighten up a bit in interviews lately.

Her VG performance on there was really nice, one of my favs of that track actually, especially after the weird SNL gig.

If we're going to complain about that, then we may as well complain about 70% of what she does since it's all borrowed from a time before her. So much of what she does is nostalgia, her whole look has been lifted from Prscilla Presley/Nancy Sinatra ect. her singing style also, i mean...........if at this point using an old skool song title as a lyric is so awful then how has anyone been on board with her for the last 3 years?
