We also need to remember that music nowadays is consumed at a much faster rate, that started happening around the time Gaga arrived. I guess it’s due to more platforms that are giving people access to music. Artist relevance seems to have a shorter window nowdays, with very few exemptions. I feel like Gaga’s career has had the flow of a 20 year career, especially when you compare her to a Madonna or something.
