August 30th just doesn’t make sense. Lana may pretend to not care about sales, but Interscope wouldn’t want her releasing during Taylor’s second week. They would want to maximize sales of one of their larger artists, especially one who depends on album sales rather than singles.

I have listened to any of the NFR songs in a solid 3-4 months to keep my album listen as fresh as possible. I hope it pays off because I miss Venice Bitch.

The cover needs to be textless and borderless. She used to have such an amazing eye for visuals, so I don’t need more disappointments like the last two atrocities of album covers that she gave us.

We were so naive last September thinking we’d be getting a December album These next five weeks are going to drag, but what’s another month after it’s almost been a year? As long as the album is good and the cover art is actually cute, all is well.

Why wouldn’t they do the 16th to maximize sales? All of the gays are going to be buying Lover the following two weeks, but I guess sales aren’t a huge deal when it comes to Lana. A third #1 would have been cool, though. Imagine how close we are to the album cover

Ugh, I’m so excited that we’re finally getting the rollout. I’m still trying hard not to listen to the songs we have, so they’ll all sound fresh as part of one cohesive album experience. Plus it’s going to be a summer album which fits the Laurel Canyon vibes. Please let the album art be cute, though. It may sound silly, but bad album art can damper a listening experience for me - especially with an artist as visually-driven as Lana. Dying for a painting of her driving down a desert highway.

I would be sooo here for the painted covers, but I doubt they would let her release the same day as Taylor and lose that many sales/streams.

I’m just happy she specifically said two months because it holds her/the label fairly accountable. And LFL pre-order came one week before the album, so I wouldn’t hold your breath about NFR coming soon. Maybe the cover art and an official date?

We are about to be fed, sistren. Soon we’ll get the album cover, the track list, another song or two, then the full album, a soundtrack collab with Miley and Ariana, probably a couple of interviews. Our waiting has finally paid off. The gays always win

That's what I was thinking. If she actually confirmed a date at the show (which I don't think she has ever done), then she must be putting the album cover or official date on IG soon. Unless we have been misled.
