  1. The 80s continue. We need a strong 90 or 100 to solidify a good final score. EW-83 DIY-80 Guardian/Observer-80 Pitchfork-75 MusicOMH-70 NYT-Positive LA Times-Positive It'll be interesting to see how they score the last two. They're extremely positive, but could be misconstrued if not read closely.
  2. Hopefully we will get a few 90-100 scores from Consequence of Sound, EW, Billboard, Sputnikmusik, etc.
  3. To be added to MC: DIY-80 Guardian/Observer-80 Pitchfork-75 MusicOMH-70 NYT-Positive LA Times-Positive
  4. So, MC needs to add: Guardian-80 LA Times-Positive NYT-Positive
  5. At least post a link to the ending of that gif
  6. Usually, but they're apparently put this one on iTunes too.
  7. Yes. His last (solo) mixtape sold almost 500K in three days.
  8. There are a lot. Pitchfork, Slant, Spin, Consequence of Sound, Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, Boston Globe, Sputnikmusic, Q Magazine, Fact Magazine, DIY Magazine, LA Times, Clash, Chicago Tribune, A.V. Club, The 405 (which is def going to be negative), Under the Radar. The Guardian usually has 2/3 reviews.
  9. I think we would need to contact All Music Guide since they posted the wrong(?) score
  10. Starts with a 79 on MC (not including the 85 or the highly positive NYT review) I can't find any contact info :/
  11. They said it was her best yet, but they gave UV an 80 lol
  12. I'm surprised that AllMusic only gave her a 70. The review reads like a 90
  13. 4/5 from Rolling Stone! http://www.rollingstone.com/music/albumreviews/lana-del-rey-honeymoon-20150918 Reviews that count for MC: Rolling Stone-80 Independent-80 Guardian-80 NME-80 Telegraph-80 New York Times-positive
  14. Who the fuck cares about Fantano's review?
  15. The guy from the NYT loves Lana. It's a very positive review. "Because of this, 'Honeymoon' (Interscope), her third major-label album, achieves a sublimity missing from her first two...Perhaps 'Honeymoon' is the first great prison album of the 21st century, her jail being celebrity and the scrutiny that comes with it." "Together, they have arrived at a solution to a problem that bedeviled Ms. Del Rey on her first two albums, 'Born to Die' from 2012, and 'Ultraviolence' from last year. On 'Born to Die' especially, she was thwarted by the ambitions of her producers. Ms. Del Rey was still unsteady as a character, and the gorgeous, lush production often highlighted how fragmented she was. Now she is steady, and resolute too. And so the music stays out of the way, ranging from melancholy to aspirated but never overwhelming..." And extremely positive from Boston Herald as well: "Obviously obtuse, hauntingly beautiful and a perfect end to Rey’s best release yet."
  16. We can discuss the reviews as they are published and the album's score on MetaCritic here.
  17. Honeymoon > Ultraviolence > AKA > Born to Die >>>>>Paradise Never thought she would make a record better than UV.
  18. Seriously. If/when this isn't nominated for the Album of the Year Grammy, it will be ridiculous.
