I thought I'd have a go at it while I've got nothing to do. Very simple design.

Is This Happiness or Flipside - your favorite bonus track?
Lana Del Rey replied to Sebastian's topic in Lana Thoughts
Flipside, Is This Happiness, Florida Kilos and Black Beauty are the only songs I like on ultraviolence. Shame they're all bonus tracks #sorrynotsorry just not feeling the rest of ultraviolence -
Getting to the front is an easy way, but you may get bored depending on who else is on. Keep hydrated too, you're not gonna have a chance to get water waiting all day, you will evidently lose your spot. They may not allow it at the festival but bring empty bottles, and fill them up inside the festival before going to the stage. Worst case scenario they take away your bottles or maybe there lids (maybe carry the lids separately to the bottles) Just stay healthy at the show and don't faint and get there early to guarantee your spot and you'll be fine

Lana Del Rey Speaks About Next Record, "Music to Watch Boys To"
Lana Del Rey replied to Linethic's topic in New Releases
What if this interview was pre-ultraviolence, and the description she gave is what she thought of Ultraviolence at the time? Could that be possible or is it confirmed that this is a new interview? It may not of been released until now -
Was the Ribs instrumental leaked in 320kbps? 160kbps is weak I might be doing a cover of it too at a mini-festival so I want the instrumental in the highest possible quality, but if not, that's fine

When I went, I heard like brass instruments and it sounded quite mysterious, I've discussed it with someone else who went to another show and they heard the exact same thing I heard, really fast brass instruments

I've seen him live twice. My dad, and my grandmother and huge fans. I think my Grandmother has been to 30(?) of his shows and she still attends even though she is 68 years of age. Lana has seen him twice too, makes me feel more *~spiritually connected~* to her.. Knockin' on Heavens Door is one of my faves and I was overjoyed when Lana sung it (Even though it was only 50 seconds long)

Ramona Lisa AKA Caroline Polachek. Ramona Lisa was originally in the synth-pop duo, Chairlift She announced her solo career in January 2014 and also stated that she has been performing in bars under the name Ramona Lisa. On twitter, she stylizes her genre of music as "Pastoral Electronic" Being a new artist, she doesn't have much content. Arcadia, her debut album, is being released on April 28th 2014, but a stream is available on thefader.com Listen to Arcadia HERE I really do love the album and I love how it's just recorded using her MacBook and Midi instruments Listen to some of her songs here

Lana's concert at Comerica Theatre trashed by angry reviewer
Lana Del Rey replied to Maxwell's topic in Shows
Does he not have any feelings? When I went to a Lana concert last May, I was depressed after the show for a while. I just couldn't believe how good it was, how good it made me feel. What made it the best is that you could genuinely see her love for her fans and although I didn't get to meet her, I was almost crying because she is so kind-hearted as she was taking photos with fans and signing their stuff. She's just such a genuine person. To be fair, all what makes the concert slightly rubbish is when the crowd overpowers her voice. I couldn't hear her sing video games at all because of all the rays who only knew that song. I think when she goes down off the stage to take photos with fans/sign things, the crowd goes wild. That's also what I disliked. It felt like I was in a whirlpool. I had no control where I was going, when Lana went to the left, I was pushed to the left, when she went to the right, I was pushed to the right. The only problems at the concert were the people attending the concert, not Lana herself. (I got elbowed in the face by a male with drawn-on teardrops, because he thought I slapped his head) When you're in the concert, timing doesn't matter, I just lose track of time and I am excited that I am there. I would definitely see Lana again if she came back to Manchester, and if I had the money. -

Lana Del Rey gets a Billboard Music Award Nomination
Lana Del Rey replied to kingadam's topic in Awards & Nominations
Lana & Lorde are considered rock? Ahaha -
I hope there is a decent story occurring throughout the video. I don't want it to be like Nicki Minaj's Starships (like really what has a starship got to do with a beach apart from the first lyric [LET'S GO TO THE BE-EACH])

Lately, I've been OVER obsessing over Crystal Castles. I just feel so free listening to them like I can do whatever the fuck I want to do. I listen to them when I am walking my dog through the nearby lovely cemetery. I've got myself into a routine that I listen to the albums consecutively. Air War is a strong song to me, I just feel so intrigued listening to it. Also, Baptism is another favorite of mine, I can just listen to this and instantly feel much better if I am feeling down. Plague is beautiful too. When I first discovered Crystal Castles late 2012, I only really connected with III. I didn't like II and I much but I had them in my library. Then I started to like II as well as III, but I was still not growing on me. One day I had this feeling, just to listen to I and like wow! I was amazed at how good it actually is. I is my favourite of all three albums. There is a rumor that the fourth album will be released in May of 2014, but for some reason I am seriously doubting this.

Chairlift Chairlift is an Synthpop duo from Brooklyn, New York. Caroline Polachek and Aaron Pfenning formed Chairlift in 2005 at the University of Colorado. In 2007, Patrick Wimberly joined chairlift when Caroline and Aaron relocated from LA to Williamsburg. Pfenning left chairlift in 2010, leaving Polachek and Wimberly as a duo. Their first full-length album, 'Does you inspire you' was released in 2008. The song 'Bruises' was the lead single off the album and was featured in the 4th Generation iPod Nano commercial. In early 2012, 'Something' was released 'Amanaemonesia' (one of my favorites) was the first single of 'Something' in late 2011. 'No Angel' on Beyoncé's album was written and co-produced by Polachek In January of 2014, Caroline Polachek announced she is releasing a solo EP under the stage name 'Ramona Lisa' (But I won't go into her as much as this thread is about the amazing Chairlift) Listen to a few of their songs. I am obsessed! Cover of Beyoncé's Party *I'm sorry if a thread already exists, but I don't think it does, but you can merge/delete if there is*
