Has anyone actually bought the full soundtrack? I'm trying to download it now because the film looks godly but my card is flopping -_-

The full soundtrack is out in New Zealand, everywhere else is this week apparently. Maybe now I can get the answer to my question, if not, I'll download it when it's available here and know for myself

I kinda meant more are their songs in the soundtrack that sound or resemble the two Lana songs (like when you'd hear the piano parts in gatsby etc). Not necessarily are the songs in the film (which we know are in a round about way)

Yep, that's the kinda thing I meant. That sort of in/out reference whether it be a few notes, a small instrumental piece etc. Thanks for all replies!

That's weird coz I think I read on IMDB that a small segment of 'I Can Fly' is in the movie near the end (after a court scene?) and then 'Big Eyes' plays on the credits. I would agree that 'I Can Fly' would work better in the credits though

you know in movies they sometimes play the theme songs in one way or another (like when we heard the orchestra stuff and occasional piano rift of Y&B in gatsby), is that the case with big eyes? I NEED to here I can Fly somewhere in that movie. I know you can stream the soundtrack online but ive not listened to it yet, i thought id ask in advance (going back to gatsby, I loved the choir version that was briefly played..man I love that film and song)

I am in love with 'I Can Fly'. I like most of Lana's songs so I'd probably never hate these two songs, but when I heard this particular one (ICF) it really made my ears prick up. It's catchy and just lovely, one of her nicer songs and with a story behind it obviousy. I LOVE the last 30 seconds or so with the piano/playground sounds, kinda like 'Bel Air'. Just absolutely beautiful. I'm so surprised to see people here saying they hate it!!?

Hi there, I don't post here much but thought I'd ask this as I'm sure someone will be able to answer! As of yet, I've seen no release date for an iTunes/CD release of the official film soundtrack, but I assume one is coming soon. All I want to know is, will there be tracks on there that kinda sound like Lana's two tracks? For example, in Titanic you have 'my heart will go on' referencing through, and of course like in the great gatsby where Y&B was played in different ways. I just love 'I Can Fly' so much & to hear that in various forms would be amazing, whether vocally or instrumentally Thanks
