i really hate to be the party killer. and i'm sure some of y'all have said this a thousand times. but we're forgetting that none of lana's demos/unreleased tracks were supposed to leak. ever. although, yes, i'd love more new songs than ones we've already heard, i have to remember that these songs weren't meant to be heard unless they were officially released. either way, i think it'd be nice to have a few demos turned to released tracks. i'm vouching for a full version of "valley of the dolls" too.

no cuz i actually am starting to love this album now

after listening to solar power for a 2nd time on my way home, i'm growing to really like the album. is it still her best? no. but it's still beautiful and great for summer drives.

upon first listen my faves have to been mood ring (of course), fallen fruit, the path, oceanic feeling, and the deluxe tracks! it's VERY cohesive which kinda becomes a little tiring, but it's not an awful album like everyone's saying. i definitely need a second play through before i decided how i feel. it'll be good for my hour-long drive home today. that being said, i think the extreme hate on here is truly unwarranted. of course, everyone's allowed to have their own opinions. and i agree it's definitely not her strongest album. but there's no reason to consistently bash lorde. construction criticism/opinions vs. extremely hateful comments are two different things. she's just a human being.

oh wow this album is AMAZING. my cousin and i listened to it twice together. first listen, we took everything in. second listen, we were dancing. it was so fun! im seeing mixed reviews on here.. i personally love the album. i had low expectations tbh, but she blew me away. although, 'therefore i am' and 'my future' are kinda skips cuz they're just overplayed. my current faves (not including the singles): billie bossa nova, oxytocin, happier than ever
