I’m not such a big Tinashe or Iggy fan anymore, but indie really works for them. Look at how N1A/Pop 2/HIFN were rolled out almost perfectly (I think there was a short delay with N1A?) Then look at what happened with Sucker/XCX World delays. The Charli album roll out was long due to it not being planned, wasn’t it nearly a year after 1999 was released? Charli wants music out quickly and we want that too. I think we’ll get an album this year, but not as soon as we were expecting. It felt like an era was starting a few months ago with Spinning, Drama, Charger and XCXOPLEX

I’ve never watched untucked before, maybe I’ll have to. I just finished watching Alone Together. What a treat. I loved how it opened from the Charli era and ended with Charli thinking what’s next.

My biggest worry is letting Charli speak. They don’t give guest judges much airtime except for Miley, Gaga and Nicki. I’m sure Charli would have plenty to say.

I just purchased it, the documentary is only £5 and it streams from 6th June. There’s a cinema option too, I would have gone to see it at the cinema but I’m on holiday at the time

I didn’t even notice that. I doubt an album shoot if she is planning on recording more tracks next month. I would love another monthly drop situation right now while we wait for the lead/album. I don’t think it will be soon since there doesn’t seem to be any promo lined up. I can’t believe she’s come back to the UK, she isn’t on any summer festival line ups right now. The Spinning Remixes are out officially now. Hopefully the next release is in the pipe work, I’m ready for new Charli. Hopefully it won’t be too long, more festival line ups are being announced and Charli isn’t on them. I expected her to be on Lollapolooza Chicago with that huge line up, but Charli has stayed hard working and unproblematic this last year.

I hope we get a HIFN birthday present to celebrate ?

So I guess from this and Charli recently saying she doesn’t like revisiting old songs and wants to put out newer stuff she’s working on, means she’s not pissed about the leak happen just as long as it’s not another XCXWorld/Future/Upcoming release? Maybe working on HIFN changed her attitude with the little leaks she gave since she was able to put the finished project out so soon to completion.

That leaked a while ago. Apparently Chainsmokers produced it?

Apparently it’s not coming until Autumn due to the vinyl backlog.

I actually enjoy I finally understand. It’s so different to the rest of the album it’s refreshing as it’s doesn’t go so hard. I’ve been listening to HIFN and the Boiler Room set and she really poured her vulnerable 90’s baby self into it all.

I can’t stop thinking about the Alone Together doc. I want to see it so bad but I guess it will drop when the new album does. Anyway, who knows how soon the album is coming. She recently said in an interview that she’s visiting some old songs so hopefully that means she’s still working on the Janet album. She said her label said she wasn’t relatable and to post pictures of her dog... All I could think about was meeting Charli before the show on tour... a meet and greet for free... if that isn’t grounded, I don’t know what is because I can’t relate to these basic pop girls on the radio.

Charli isn’t performing at Leeds/Reading festival but the Manchester Pride line up is being announced today for the same weekend. Hopefully Charli will be there instead as I can’t see her touring fully until next year. Well, she isn’t on the current line up. I hope the album is finished and not that they’re clearing her summer calendar for more sessions to complete it ?

We don’t need to compare women against women or what they have or not. The industry does that enough. They are both successful, influential and important in their own rights.

I went to the Taylor tour just to see Charli open. I’m not 12 but it was pretty dead and they had no Charli merch in London and she didn’t have a UK store at the time

Charli needs to drop new merch. Most of it is out of stock. I finally brought the Click jumper and it was beautiful but it was just too big and they didn’t have my size. It’s even out of stock on the US store too.

I would love to see her do Spicy, I’ve seen her do Boom Clap enough. Boys can go now too as it’s too mid tempo.

I also hope they’ve found someone to sell the documentary to so we get plenty of content.

I loved waking up to find 10 leaks every day ?

I rediscovered HIFN today and enjoyed the whole album like never before. I was really in the mood for it and not just my favourite tracks. Although Charli uses a lot of autotune you can still hear her voice and all the lyrics. I remember Pop 2 leaking under some autotune mess zip file and people who heard it early said it was a mess. How far we’ve come.
