She doesn’t seem to have faith that her work is good enough. She re recorded Trouble, I get that she likes to keep her old songs and rework them but put something out. She’s been recording forever.

If it’s the Rina track and if it really does sample 9pm then I think that would be a European summer track, same with if there’s a Show Me Love sample. Things could be big.

I hope it isn’t another album track, I don’t want another album song but I also want another song 😂

She’s been saying that she’s been buying them back since 2018. She’s aware of the leaks. I’m sure she’s talking to Epic about how these tracks have gotten out after 9 years. Let’s be honest, since she left we’ve had 1 EP, a few singles and features. She’s had at least 2 cancelled second albums, and another cancelled EP. She could have released something more substantial in 9 years surely?

I actually enjoyed All I Need more, there were so many bops, I saw her live twice during that era. Glorious was too bulky for me. I never listened to the EP after the single, I thought we had lost her.

Between the lighting and Charli’s presence, it wasn’t until she invited the local queens onto stage that I realised she was on stage on her own. As funny as that guy recreating Charli’s live performance is, she’s very entertaining. She bummed Henry in the face during I Love It and of course said “I thought this song was big in Germany” 😂 The cubes were iconic.

I hope we get a few more leaks before the next album. I think she’ll release something this summer as she’s has a few tour dates.

The “Body” snippet just came on shuffle, out of all the things I can’t believe a demo of Dirty Sexy Money hasn’t leaked.

I think this sound a lot more recently maybe from the 2019 tracks?

Charli taking about being excited for the tour on her stories 😍 I can’t get over the fact I’ll be able to walk to and from her Norwich show after travelling to Paris, Berlin and Taylor Swifts concert to be able to see her. Although the first time I saw her was in Norwich at a festival. It’s full circle for me.

What was missing for me was GNO, No Angel and Pop2 tracks. Most people weren’t able to go to a Pop2 show, she had been performing GNO and NA at festivals and had NA merch. I enjoy listening to the live album now and I got to meet Charli, so I do have good memories of the tour.

I’ve heard Good Ones on the radio a few times on Radio One and I don’t listen to the radio much. We don’t really know what all of Baby sounds like so we don’t know how it will perform yet. There will never be a Boom Clap moment again though, I don’t see Charli chasing a hit but some commercial success is good. I want more people to experience her music.

I could see Baby being played on the radio/streaming/becoming a TikTok. The problem with New Shapes is how it’s off beat and it’s too hard for the locals to casually follow. So I guess my point is, we’re getting the whole album in 2.5 months so I’m hoping for the best commercial success.

It’s not a good week this Friday as it will be crowded and I imagine the Weeknd will have a lot of songs. Hopefully it’s later this month.

A Crash remix of Doing It

It really just hit me, Baby is going to go off on the Crash tour. I can’t wait to hear the singles live, the only songs I’m really hoping for from HIFN is Anthems and Visions, but I’m sure it will be Claws and Forever.
