On second listen I'm feeling a bit warmer about it. So I is too early in the album imo, and i might say something stupid should have been scrapped, or at least not put as track 4...awful sequencing decision.

I just don't get the insistence, especially with her placement on the albums, it's always wrong (for me). I might say something stupid has no business being so early in the record, it makes no sense (on a first listen, anyway).

Why does she think we want ballads from her? I literally DON'T want to hear it and it's so disappointing. MAKE A BALLS TO THE WALL CLUB ALBUM I'M BEGGING! Who ASKED for i might say something stupid? I'm MAD!

To be fair I listened to all of them in the work bathroom off of my phone speaker at the lowest volume so maybe I set myself up there…

Why does the album kinda sound like a snooze fest based on these snippets…obviously it could be on purpose but seems like the singles were the most high energy.

Absolutely not. Definitely a demo. I'm sure it won't be AS offensive, I just don't see how something like this fits on the album in any way, if Spring Breakers or Make You Mine don't. Sometimes I question her!

    ITAIATT.........worse than I remember

It doesn't need to be malicious. Like it can be a diss song about Lorde and not be complete vitriol. She wrong a song about another celebrity she has issues with. Whatever.

Keep trying to revisit ITAIATT but can't find it ANYWHERE. Even stans don't care about it enough to keep a working link up.

I think it's closer to a Lorde diss. "Wish you would come to my party and put your hands up" kind of reads like a play on the lyrics from "Team".

Every night I wake up in a cold sweat, fearing the absolute WHIPLASH that will be ITAIATT into 365.

not her giving that bullshit about the brat cover being a play against misogyny and objectification only to drop this cover like please be frrrrr

Do you guys realistically think anything is coming this year? Any idea what stage she's in?

I agree. I think whatever was happening in her vocal production on Vulnicura and Utopia was certainly...a choice for the darker nature of the albums. I don't care what she says about Utopia, it is not her "light" album at all, it's still very much rooted in darkness and heavyness for me. Anyway, Fossora definitely feels and sounds like a return to form and I hope she continues that with the next record. Fossora could have been pushed further I think, like where was the sampling of mushroom music? It may have been TOO obvious but not even on one track? Kind of strange to me.
