I don't see why the producers of VBS and Iconic wouldn't allow her to put those songs out. It always seemed like she was the holdup on those. But I guess circumstances change. I'm not sure what Donatachi has to lose...haven't heard anything from them in years so this could only be good publicity. Anyway, like I've said before in this thread, I'm grateful she's giving us anything. She never had to come back. Yeah, it's annoying she makes promises she can't keep but at the end of the day she has more of a presence than she ever had, and now that she is allowing us into her world you all want to bitch and complain about it? I disagree. I love every single song on the project. No skips album for me. Can't say the same about any other Charli release and I've been around since she opened for Marina before TR was out.

Her best work IS and will ALWAYS BE hifn. To be in that moment was nothing short of an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will not soon forget. Anyone claiming otherwise wasn't there! It's a shame she didn't really get any recognition for the project. To do it in such a short period of time and have it turn out so amazing, while also putting a bow on the sonic evolution she'd developed since Vroom Vroom EP...It felt like a true goodbye to the era of PC music for her. I'm a hifn stan until the day I die!

God you guys are tiring. A few months ago I was sure Ayesha would never return and was content with the mountain of content we already have from her. I knew if she ever came back it wouldn't feel the same and when it started to look like she was returning, I told myself I would just be grateful for whatever she decides to put out. I suggest you do the same instead of theorizing on her career. If you want the old Ayesha, go listen to the old Ayesha! Don't ruin it for the rest of us...and her.

But actually this is so much better than TP. Her growth is amazing. As much as I miss Mixtape era (mostly just the world at that time was really fun for me, going to her concerts in NYC, seeing Charli around the same type, hyper pop in general) so I’ll always be nostalgic for that, but I’m glad she’s been able to keep that essence alive in her artistry while still moving on and improving. Definitely excited to see what the rest of the era holds! And cigarettes stop leaking her albums, come ON!!

I like it! It’s just not her best. Much like any great! Björk, Kate, Joni…the first isn’t even close to what they end up achieving but she’s gonna be one of those artists where if you want to “get into her” you start from the beginning and follow the journey. Which is a special place to be!

Taking this platform and moment to say BTD aged terribly and anyone not ranking it second last (LFL is obviously unlistenable) or wasn’t alive when it came out cause it was a cute moment then but that sound is long dead, she moved so past that.
