  1. nnnnn, me too. I'm curious to hear the new "Black Beauty". Tho. Probably not as good as the original.
  2. Robert Grant has confirmed that there's a "magic date" in June.
  3. First of all, Mariah doesn't scream in her song. Viva go away bitch. I hate when people say "I'm a fan" but continue to drag that said artist. Your opinion is completely biased against Mariah. Go ask ANY real people that know a thing about Vocal technique and ask them whether Mariah Fucking Carey screams in her song? They'll probably smack you in the face. And about Adele let me not say anything about ha. Ha songs are "cute". In no shape or form that she's a better vocalist than Mariah like no just no......I've come to realized that most Lana fans (esp here) are really young (I mean y'all are bunch of 13- 17 wtf??) and most are uneducated about a legend like Mariah because they have never lived through one of her eras. They have only witnessed her flop (now) but never seen her great days. @Younandme YAsss!! Sis, educate them.
  4. Video coming out 2 mo according to BBbrazil.
  5. Personally, I love West Coast. I think that the production (instrumental) is fantastic. The only problem is her vocal for me. Dan Auerbach used the exact same effect on his record for Lana's and it doesn't work IMO. The slight radio effect coupled with the rather louder instrumentals overshadow Lana's voice. Her vocals are muffled. On his record, Dan sings in a high voice sometimes borderline screaming. Lana voice is very restrained, composed, soft. It doesn't work. Oddly enough on WC, Lana uses her "high" voice as well which she rarely use on previous albums. On Once Upon A Dream, Dan Heath uses that radio effect as well but it works Flawlessly. The production never interfere with her voice. She also sing very deep similar to Born To Die, Video Game etc. Born To Die despite the strings, the heavy beats, the guy screaming in the background. As soon as Lana voice comes in "feet don't fail me now" her voice demands attention. "Kiss Me Hard Before You Go" "All My Friends Tell Me, I Should Move On" "I've Been Out On That Open Road" "I've Seen The World, Done It All, Had My Cake Now" Her voice always stand out above the instrumental. Her voice has been the main attention in EVERY song so far until "West Coast" IMO. One of the most memorable parts of WC is from 0:00 to 0:17 which is all instrumental and that sound repeated throughout the song. The "Wong Wong Wong" and the guitars and drums. The little instrumental before the tempo change which sounds like The Beatles "I love her" is also memorable. And of course, the high pitch noise at the end. Don't get me wrong her voice is seductive and very sexy on the song but it doesn't stand out at all to me. It just there. I'm going to pray that all the 9 songs he produced do not have that effect on her voice. (Which is unlikely but pray regardless) Honesty, I really need super clean and Lean vocals from Lana again. I know for a fact they is using dat effect on her voice to make it seems more "raw" more "real" more "rigid" sounding But plz I don't need daT.
  6. Short albums >>> long albums Sorry. I'd rather listen to 11 flawless track than a filler album.
  7. Nnnn I feel the same. A lot of fans love BTD because of the hip hop elements. That album has a wide demo of people enjoying it. From gays to straight From Hip hop to pop fans From young to old. From underground music lovers to mainstream ones. I feel Like UV will be a commercial flop but more critically acclaimed idk. Lana seems to be more concerned about critics and how they perceive her than success at this point.
  8. BTD has 12 songs. So I don't see what the problem is. Paradise has even fewer.
  9. I don't know I feel about this. 9 tracks produced by Dan seems a lot. I hope it's good tho. I'm not into "rock" music that much. I'm more into Urbana not rockna. I detest Body Electric and Young And Beautiful live now because of how she incoprates the "rock" sound to it. It lost all the eerie and epic ness of the song.
  10. Emile Haynie must be responsible for this. Can't wait to hear Lana's deep smooth buttery vocals again, tired of the Inaudible whisper with a slight radio effect on "West Coast"
  11. Hmmm, what does that mean? So the new song is more BTD esque and radio friendly? YASSSSSSSSSS
  12. Yeah, keep laughing remain ignorant. The Elusive Chanteuse (another persona btw in case you're dumb) is still the most successful song writer and producer of all time.
  13. You said she's dumb and inarticulate but she writes and produces her entire catalogue. You think a dumb person can write such amazing songs that live on forever aka classics. Infact she's the only one out of all the big females (Celine, Madonna, Whitney etc) to do so. Her persona has nothing to do with what she is inside. Being a Lana fan you should know the difference between Lizzy Grant and Lana Del Rey.
  14. I don't think it's misleading. More like opening up her sound to a different audience. Just like the remix of SS did.
  15. kiiii Some stupid Carlea Ray Jetson stan punched me out. but she's now in my burn book. Once I'm back, I'll be scalping ha by the follicles.
  16. Dumb enough to win over 400 awards. 5 Grammys Over 140 for her SONG WRITING. So dumb and inarticulate. FYI, Mariah NEVER has "Ghost Writers" in her career and she's also the producer of her own songs.
  17. This is a radio mix. It won't be on the album. It works better as a single. I can see this smashing.
  18. Do y'all think Lana will put UV for pre orders? I hope so tbh.
  19. For me, Black and White pictures or videos give a certain kind of CLASS and sophistication that colors can't do.
  20. I really love the radio mix. It's pretty fantastic. Her vocals are more pronounced and clearer which is easier for DJ to mix it if they want to. Yassss
  21. There's nothing with with having different versions. I was mad before because they replaced a version with another one. Now they simply add another one which is all good.
